When Endeavour College’s Remedial Massage program closed its doors temporarily, I carried those rich interactions and experiences with me. It felt like the end of an era. But here’s the plot twist: it was just an intermission.

I am incredibly proud to announce that I am rejoining the Remedial Massage faculty at Endeavour College of Natural Medicine.

To be requested to return is one thing. But to be welcomed into the new team with such warmth and excitement? That is the ultimate confirmation. This isn't just a job; it's an opportunity to bring another level of excellence. I get to bring my experience, expertise, and purpose into a program that is being revitalised and is now stronger than ever.

🧼 When your Rebel Rouser goes rogue… 🤭

Meet Sally. She's a legend.

She took her Rebel Rouser Multi-Purpose Spray home after the workshop, excited to clean with confidence. She followed the recipe… mostly.

And then this happened. ☝️

Yes, that's a coagulated, curdled, "what-on-earth-happened?!" bottle of all-purpose cleaner.

And you know what? It's absolutely fine.

Here's what went down:

The recipe calls for just 1 teaspoon of castile soap per batch. But castile soap is concentrated stuff – and if you add even a little extra, it can react with the vinegar and form those little clumps you see here. It's completely harmless – just not very pretty!

The good news? Sally joined The BlendCraft™ Circle – our private Facebook group for workshop alumni – and shared her blooper.

And the community rallied. 💚

We talked her through a quick fix:

Give it a really good shake.

Add a splash of warm water.

Strain it through a fine sieve if needed.

Ready to create your OWN blends? 🎨

Welcome to The Oil Insight Series | Module 3, Tip 1/3: SCENT NOTES EXPLAINED

Think of blending like music. Each oil has a "note" that determines when you smell it and how long it lasts.

Here's your guide 👇

1️⃣ TOP NOTES (First Impression)

Hit your nose first, evaporate quickly (15 mins – 2 hours)

Examples: Citrus (Lemon, Orange, Grapefruit), Mint (Peppermint, Spearmint), Eucalyptus

Role: Bright, uplifting, energising

2️⃣ MIDDLE NOTES (Heart of the Blend)

Emerge after top notes fade, last 2–6 hours

Examples: Lavender, Rosemary, Geranium, Tea Tree

Role: Balancing,rejuvenating, purifying - gives your blend character

3️⃣ BASE NOTES (Depth + Longevity)

Slowest to evaporate, last up to 24+ hours

Examples: Cedarwood, Sandalwood, Frankincense, Vetiver

Role: Anchors the blend, adds warmth and staying power

The Secret to Great Blends:

Include ALL three notes

bright + balance + deep

Not just what oils - how to use them.

🔥 Tight, aching muscles?
Massage 5 drops (Cajeput + Peppermint) in 10mL carrier. Warm hands. Work into knots.

❄️ Hot, swollen joints?
Mist spray: 15–20 drops (Lemon Tea Tree + Kunzea) + 1 tsp solubiliser + distilled water. Cool. Soothe. Repeat.

🧠 Nerve pain keeping you up?
Diffuse 6–8 drops (Lavender + Frankincense + Petitgrain) at bedtime. Let your nervous system reset.

💙 Emotional heaviness & stress?
Bath Soak: 6 drops (Boronia or Wattle) + 1 tsp solubiliser + Epsom salts. Warm water. Quiet space. Let yourself soften.
