🏠 SDA is more than just a home — it’s a home designed around accessibility and independence.

Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) is designed for people with extreme functional impairment or very high support needs, with features that can make everyday living safer, more accessible, and more independent.

One important distinction: SDA funds the specialised housing — not the support workers inside it. Supports such as SIL are separate and can work alongside SDA where appropriate.
