About the Role
As our Business Development Manager, you’ll be responsible for growing our referral network and introducing new participants to our services.
You will be the face of Unique Traits Community Services, building lasting relationships with professionals and organisations throughout the community.
Your Responsibilities
* Develop relationships with Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Hospitals, Schools, Allied Health Professionals, General Practitioners and community organisations.
* Attend networking events, expos and community events.
* Promote the full range of Unique Traits Community Services.
* Generate genuine participant referrals.
* Maintain ongoing relationships with referral partners.
* Identify new business opportunities throughout Melbourne.
* Represent the organisation with professionalism, integrity and passion.

Commission Structure
This is a commission-only contractor position with uncapped earning potential.
You’ll be rewarded for every genuine participant you introduce who successfully commences services with Unique Traits Community Services.
We believe in recognising high performers. Once you have successfully introduced 10 genuine participants who have completed onboarding and signed a Unique Traits Community Services Service Agreement, you will become eligible to discuss transitioning to a retainer plus commission model, subject to ongoing performance, participant referrals and business requirements.
About You
We’re looking for someone who is:
* Passionate about helping people.
* Confident in building professional relationships.
* A strong communicator.
* Self-motivated and driven.
* Professional, organised and reliable.
* Comfortable working independently.
* Experienced in business development, networking, sales or the NDIS sector (preferred but not essential).
Essential Requirements
* Current ABN (Sole Trader) or willingness to obtain one before commencing.
* Current Australian Driver Licence.
* Reliable motor vehicle.
* Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
* Mobile phone and laptop or tablet.
* Professional presentation.
