If you see the as a way your subconscious and subtle energetic state communicate, it can be a genuinely useful spiritual tool. The main benefit is that it can slow you down, sharpen your questions, and help reveal what you already know beneath the surface.

Pros
• It can help you access in a structured way, especially when your conscious mind is noisy or overthinking.
• It gives fast yes/no feedback, which can be useful for clarifying decisions or checking alignment with a choice.
• It can function as a mirror for your current state, showing fear, desire, resistance, or certainty that you may not be fully admitting consciously.
• Many practitioners find it helps with grounding, ritual, and building trust in inner guidance through repeated practice.

Cons
• It can reflect wishful thinking, , or attachment to an outcome rather than clean guidance.
• Results can be distorted if you are tired, emotionally charged, or asking the same question repeatedly.
• Because subtle muscle movements are involved, it can be hard to separate subconscious response from deliberate or unconscious influence.
• It is usually weakest for complex, high-stakes, or medical/legal decisions, where ambiguity is too high for a simple yes/no tool.

Best way to use it is to treat the pendulum as a feedback tool, not an oracle. It works best when you ask clear questions, calm your state first, and use the answer as one input alongside discernment, body awareness, and real-world evidence. A helpful framing is: ā€œthe pendulum does not create truth; it reflects my current with it.ā€ That keeps the practice spiritually meaningful without overloading it with certainty.

I only use my pendulum as a tool, to confirm an intuitive hint, when my feels it needs validation. I do not believe it is a spirit speaking through the energy of the pendulum as much as my own subconscious influencing the energy.. but they are pretty and a lot of fun to play with!

Here’s a challange, however long it takes.. I’ll wait! GO

Why?

Writing 100 things you love about yourself can help you become more self-aware by making your strengths, values, habits, and patterns visible on paper. It can also support your goals and dreams by clarifying what matters to you, boosting motivation, and helping you turn vague wishes into specific actions.

When you write about yourself, you slow down and notice what you usually overlook in everyday life. That kind of reflection helps you identify your emotions, beliefs, triggers, and recurring themes, which makes it easier to understand why you think and act the way you do.

A list of 100 positive things also trains your attention toward your strengths instead of only your flaws, which can improve self-understanding and self-trust.

Okay there’s a back story that comes with this one.

A famous someone made a comment that they are a humanist as they don’t believe in sprit. They went on to say that the world is so full of beauty and wonder that to believe there is more when we die is arrogant and stupid.

Which got my knickers in a knot, obviously.

Everyone is entitled to believe and get through this journey on their own terms, but I do take offence when derogatory judgement is lashed out for having varied views and beliefs - I don’t know what’s on the other side of this life.. but how did I encounter a boy last night, who passed in Europe who is hyper annoyingly excited about his mum’s backyard veggie garden in Perth and that his nan who just crossed over is so overjoyed to be reunited with her long gone favourite brother?

I don’t know.

All I’m saying is, let’s be open minded and present for it all.

Fun fact I was a musician in my ā€˜other life’ back in the day.. which just means I know how to read music. So when I invested in my bowls, rather than leaning into the intuitive of course I had to find some music to bangs out, literally!

Crystal bowl frequency and vibration is soo beautiful for the soul.. happy Sunday lovelies, hope everyone has a peaceful week xx

Learning to regulate is not about managing your emotions, because emotions will naturally arise in response to life’s experiences. What matters is managing your reaction to those emotions, so you can pause, notice what is happening within you, and choose a response that is grounded, intentional, and aligned with your values rather than acting from impulse.

We are only in May and what im seeing more and more and more and physically mamas!

REST is not LAZY !!

I can’t stress enough the importance of doing nothing for a myriad of benefits and especially to balance the nervous system and hormones as we head into the dreaded ā€˜middle ages’.. it’s not about doing more, pushing your body beyond its limits, keeping busy to the point of exhausting!

It’s about discovering your boundaries, feeling safe in your body and trusting your inner guidance. Your body knows! Your soul is speaking to you!! Listen, trust and surrender to the process. I promise you, the outcome is very different.

We are energy, like a battery.. we too need to recharge and press rest.

I came into after the traumatic, horrific and sudden death of my middle child, Olivia fe15. Traditional therapy I found frustrating and questionable and there is nothing in western medicine that could helped me move the pain. Religion felt like a leaky fishbowl in the ocean.. left me with more questions than answers.
The spiritual path opened hard and fast with signs, dreams and visitations.. coincidence after coincidence I could not ignore. My grieving body kept guiding me to spaces I did not understand. My mind like a houndog that’s caught a scent chasing deeper into the abyss.
I’ve learned a lot on this journey, about myself, about a myriad of modalities and theories, about our nervous system, about psychology and grief.. I’ve learned from world class mediums, physicians, holistic healers. But I have found, as pack animals with basic needs there is nothing more healing than connection.
We are undeniably all energy. In different forms, with different purpose. The trick is to learn to be present within our most authentic version of self. To allow ourselves to be witnessed in our purest, raw and vulnerable form.. we shine a light to be found in the darkness.. This is truely at the heart of healing.
But not healing from a conventional perspective, because we are not broken. Grief tears us down and rewrites our story from a new perspective. Grief changed and expands us in unimaginable ways. But it does not leave, the sadness and the pain is forever embedded into our being through space and time we float only to be grounded by love.
