Mouth Ulcers ๐ฃ
Mouth ulcers are small, painful sores that can appear inside your mouthโon the gums, inner cheeks or tongue.
They often appear due to stress, injury, certain foods or a weakened immune system. While they can be uncomfortable, theyโre usually harmless and tend to heal on their own within a week or two.
Here are a few ways to manage the pain and speed up healing:
- Use an over-the-counter oral gel or rinse to numb the area and reduce inflammation.
- Rinse your mouth with a saltwater solution to keep the sore clean.
- Avoid spicy, acidic or rough foods that can irritate the ulcer.
- Stay hydrated and maintain good oral hygiene.
If your mouth ulcer lasts more than two weeks, is particularly large or keeps recurring, itโs a good idea to check with your doctor or dentist for further advice.
