It’s okay if some years your head is in the game and others you just manage the bare minimum.
As we’ve seen from previous years, our lives are never perfect. It’s never easy, but my focus will always be on habits.
Building habits will always help you get by and still manage a good physique and health while just skating by in hard times.
There will be moments in time where you are barely making it, that’s okay and that’s something that needs talking about.
Because if we don’t, all we see online is people killing training and eating like it’s all perfect and it always has to be.. that’s not real.
What’s real is that there will be ups and there will be downs and habits will help us in hard times.
I always have my non negotiables, that even in hard times I believe in so much that I try my best to still place some focus on respect on these things.
Moving my body at least a few times a week.
Trying to eat protein with most meals.
Having water with me during the day so I have a good amount.
Trying to get a decent sleep routine.
Sometimes that’s all you can do, when the world is chaos around you (if you know what I mean you’ll understand how life can feel at times) those kinds of beliefs got me through.
Now that I feel more in control and out of the Covid mess that consumed and destroyed many in our industry, I can train multiple times, tracking my macros and being pretty on top of it.
But I have habits to thank for getting me over the line.
Don’t give up, keep showing up the best you can at that time.
That’s ok 🤍
