Today I have a die-hard Collingwood supporter coming in. The kind who doesn’t even bother watching AFL if Collingwood isn’t playing⁣

They also know I’m a Bulldogs supporter⁣

So naturally, I’ve made a tiny adjustment to the clinic decor today. 🐶❤️🤍💙⁣

Nothing petty happening here. Just thoughtfully helping them remember last weekend’s game while they enjoy their massage.⁣

Apparently the first day of spring means it’s also time to answer the question I’m being asked a lot lately…⁣

“When are you opening your diary for next year?” 😄⁣
⁣
The answer: December! 📅⁣
⁣
My 2027 appointment diary will be released in December, with the exact date announced a little closer to the time⁣
⁣
And while we’re talking about next year, there may be a tiny tweak to my clinic hours. I’ll still be working four days a week, I’m just considering a slight adjustment to my evening finish times⁣
⁣
So no, I’m not disappearing, retiring or suddenly developing sensible working hours. Just making a small adjustment to keep things sustainable⁣
⁣
In the meantime, we’ve still got four months of 2026 to get through, preferably with a little more sunshine and considerably fewer cold Melbourne mornings⁣
⁣
2027 diary details coming in December. I promise you won’t miss it!

My hands are now completely free of glitter… thanks to excellent hand cleaning protocols and being a massage therapist⁣

But let’s be honest… is glitter ever really gone? I have a sneaking suspicion I’ll still find a sparkle or two in the clinic next week 🤦🏻‍♀️⁣

This weekend I’ll be swapping muscles and massage tables for some sunshine, fresh air and a walk outdoors. Taking time to recharge isn’t just good advice, it’s also something I try to practise too⁣

Wherever your weekend takes you, I hope you can find a little time to get outside, soak up some sunshine, and do something that helps you reset

It is something we all encourage others to do, but how often do we genuinely give ourselves permission to do it too?⁣

We talk about slowing down, listening to our bodies, resting when needed and taking time to recharge ⁣
⁣
So, I’m taking my own advice⁣
⁣
The clinic’s last day before the break will be 29/05, and I will be returning on 16/07 while I take some time to rest, recharge and reset
⁣
It is a reminder that taking time off is not selfish. Rest is not lazy. Looking after yourself matters too 😁⁣
⁣
Thank you to all my wonderful clients and community for your ongoing support. I look forward to returning refreshed and ready to continue doing what I love⁣
