The ANMF is the largest union in the country with over 302,000 nurses, midwives and carers joining strongly together since 1924. We are proud of the work that our members do, in every hospital, nursing home, GP clinic, community health practice, from rural and remote Australia to large hospitals in big cities. As a national body, the Federal Office would like to acknowledge the Traditional Owners

and pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging across Australia, with particular acknowledgement to the Greater Kulin Nation, the Traditional Owners of the lands where the Melbourne Office is located and the Ngunnawal people, the Traditional Owners where the Canberra office is located. We remain committed to healing work through Voice, Treaty, Truth and our Reconciliation Action Plan. https://www.anmf.org.au/about/reconciliation-action-plan
The Australian Nursing and Midwifery Federation Federal Office represents our members in federal industrial, professional and political arenas, getting decision-makers, politicians and bureaucrats to enable nurses, midwives and carers to provide quality patient care. Our Branches are there for you when you need support and representation, when you have a workplace issue, to help you with education, professional and career development, campaigning for improvements to wages and conditions or when you simply want to talk to other nurses, midwives and carers. “Our donors come in and selflessly give their time. They donate to help save the lives of others. It’s an honour to help them do that.”
