33 years together… and still collecting memories. ❤️

These two lovelies came into the studio for another little chapter in a life they’ve built side by side.

They’ve been together for 33 years. They live together, travel together, share the adventures together and every now and then, when the mood strikes, they get matching tattoos together too. 🦘🦘

This time it was a pair of boxing kangaroos, one each, because apparently after 33 years together you may as well have matching fighters in your corner. 😂🥊

It’s always special tattooing people, but even better when the tattoo becomes another memory in a lifetime already packed with them.

Thanks for coming in, you two. Keep travelling, keep laughing and keep adding to the collection. ❤️

Sometimes a tattoo becomes part of a much bigger story.

Lisa first came into the studio one afternoon after calling to see if I had some time free. She ended up sitting in my chair and getting her “Greek Goddess” piece across her lower back.

What started as a spontaneous afternoon tattoo turned into a friendship.

Since then Lisa came back wanting something completely different, this time a dragon across her back. 🐉

I think that’s one of the things I love most about tattooing. You meet people at all different points in their lives, and sometimes you get to know the person behind the tattoo as much as the artwork itself.

Like all of us, Lisa has been going through her own things. Sometimes you just need to do something for yourself. Something that reminds you who you are, gives you a little more courage and helps you keep moving forward.

Thank you for trusting me with both pieces, Lisa, and for the friendship that came with them. ❤️

Tattooing has always been about more than putting pictures on skin.

Brad came in and let each of his sons pick a tattoo for Dad.

Fletcher chose the skateboarding skeleton 💀🛹🤘, while Spencer went for The Lovers ❤️

Two sons. Two completely different choices. Two tattoos that now mean a hell of a lot more because of who chose them.

Pretty cool way for a dad to carry a little piece of his boys with him wherever he goes. ❤️
