National Meals on Wheels Day 💙

Today is National Meals on Wheels Day, where we recognise the positive impact of delivered meals in our communities. It's more than tasty, healthy meals delivered to homes - it's about connection, care, and kindness.

We have dedicated volunteers delivering around 750 meals per week from our Bonbeach Kitchen to those who need it most. It's a small act that reminds us how much it matters to look out for one another.

Do you know someone who would benefit from meal delivery? Contact AccessCare on 1300 819 200 or view accesscare.org.au for more information.

Thank you to Chelsea Hub’s Crafty Crafters🧶

This winter, the wonderful members of the Crafty Crafters group at Chelsea Hub have been busy knitting cosy knee rugs, which were recently gifted to some lucky AccessCare clients.

It's a simple act, but for someone feeling the chill this season, a handmade rug means a lot more than warmth, it means someone was thinking of them.

Crafty Crafters is a great way to meet people and explore your creative side. The group meets every Thursday, 11am–1pm and works on a range of creative projects.

☕ Tea and coffee provided
💵 Just $3 a session, no bookings needed
