One thing many people don’t realise is that the area where you feel pain isn’t always the area causing the problem.

Tight hips, glutes, hamstrings and other surrounding muscles can change the way your body moves and place extra stress on your lower back.

Your body works as one connected chain. When one area lacks mobility, another area often has to compensate.

That’s why stretching your lower body can sometimes be just as important as treating the back itself.

Terrance and Desiree joined us at the end of March on our 28 Day Kickstart.

After Terrance’s first body scan, we sat down and spoke about goals. His answer?
Lose 10kg in 6 months.

Less than 2 months later… and almost 50 classes in… he’s already just shy of -10kg.

But this wasn’t a “lose weight fast” scheme.
