A reflection from last night's yoga class... đ
Meika asked me last night if one of the yogis she had seen me talking with before class was okay. I explained some of the challenges this beautiful soul is currently facing.
Her response was simple:
"Wow... with all that happening, she still came to yoga."
Those words stayed with me.
The very first thing I said to everyone last night was,
"The hardest part of yoga is walking out through the front door."
This morning, I've reflected on just how true those words are.
Life doesn't pause because we have a yoga class.
We all carry somethingâstress, grief, uncertainty, illness, family responsibilities, or simply the weight of a busy life. Yet, when we choose to step through that front door with our yoga mat, we're choosing ourselves.
We're choosing healing, hope, and the belief that we deserve an hour to breathe.
Today's reflection has inspired me to do better, to continue to serve, and to keep showing up for my yogis, just as they continue to show up for themselves.
⨠Every day is a fresh start.
Leave yesterday behind as you breathe deeply, move mindfully, and take one step at a time towards becoming your best self.
Yoga is so much more than movementâit's a journey towards strength, inner peace, and balance.
Every breath grounds you.
Every pose empowers you.
Every practice helps you become stronger, calmer, and more resilient.
A healthy body begins with movement, and a peaceful mind begins with presence.
So this is my gentle invitation...
Please join me on Monday night.
Mindfully take that first step through the front door.
Sometimes the hardest step is the one that gets you thereâbut it's the one you'll be most grateful you took. đ§ââď¸
