If you tell us you’re waking at the same time every night, we can tell you why.

Waking between 1 and 3am falls in the time of the Liver in Chinese medicine. Iit may mean your Liver Qi has become blocked, or stagnant.

The Liver loves free flow and movement. It doesn’t respond well to feeling stuck.

The luteal phase of the menstrual cycle begins after ovulation and continues until the start of the period

Progesterone levels start to rise and this shift in the hormones can impact energy levels, mood, appetite as well as muscle and connective tissue

This can translate to experiences like sugar cravings, irritability and low mood, feeling like you’re struggling to get through your normal workout and increased risk of injury
