There’s only one brand I’ve used since the day cancer changed my life and nine years later, I still use them today 🎀

In 2017, at just 33 years old, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. I was a new mum, with an 8 month old baby boy.

I had a mastectomy and radiation. I was told I was cancer free.

Until 2023.

At 22 weeks pregnant with my daughter, I was diagnosed with breast cancer again. This time, it had spread to both breasts and my lymph nodes. I started chemo while pregnant.

Then, at 33 weeks, everything changed again.

The cancer had spread to my spine.

Suddenly, I wasn’t fighting to get back to my old life.

I was learning how to live a completely different one.

I was now living with stage 4 incurable breast cancer.

But somehow, here I am. ❤️

Three years on, my scans are showing no evidence of disease.

I’m travelling Australia with my family.

And throughout every single chapters, there has been one brand that has been there with me.

Through diagnosis, surgery, treatment, reconstruction and now, through the life I’m living today.

That brand is Amoena Australia 🎀

So when they asked me to be part of something very special they’ve been working on, saying yes felt incredibly personal.

I can’t tell you everything just yet…

But in the next few weeks, I’ll finally be able to share it with you.

This Daffodil Day, celebrate the lives saved because of cancer research and the hope it brings for powerful new treatments to come.
Lifesaving breakthroughs in cancer research have only been possible thanks to the support of thousands of donors.

Today also marks the 40th year of Daffodil Day.
When Daffodil Day first took roots in 1986, the 5-years cancer survival was approximately 46%. Today, thanks to the support of the community raising funds for cancer research – survival is now 72%.

Susi was diagnosed with breast cancer at just 32. It was a moment that changed her life.

Today, there is one thing she wants to share more than anything: hope.

If you have only just received your diagnosis, she has an important message for you: don’t lose heart. The road may be challenging, but you have more strength within you than you might realise right now.
