What a beautiful and busy week it has been at Wonder Kidz! 💙🥳

Last week was extra special as we celebrated our King Tate turning 15! 👑🎂

The celebrations started with a small and meaningful after-school celebration on Tate’s actual birthday surrounded by his Wonder Family, sharing smiles, laughter and birthday love. 💙

But of course, we had to finish the celebrations in true Tate style… with one of his absolute favourite activities the wave pool! 🌊💦

Our Wonder Kidz came together to celebrate, play, splash and make more beautiful memories with Tate.

Seeing everyone enjoying the moment together reminded us exactly why we created this little village.

At Wonder Kidz, birthdays are more than cake and candles. 🎂 They are about belonging, friendship, connection and making every child feel seen, valued and celebrated exactly as they are.

Watching our Wonder Kidz grow up together is so emotional. 🥹💙

From little Kidz to Tweenz and now young people finding their own personalities, friendships and favourite ways to celebrate we feel incredibly privileged to be part of their journey.

🎉 You’re warmly invited to celebrate Tate’s 15th birthday! 🎂💙

Tate is incredibly important to all of us, bringing so much happiness, love and light into our lives.

We feel truly blessed that Wonder Kidz was chosen to be part of his family and support village, to share in his daily life, celebrate his achievements and create beautiful memories together.

This celebration is more than a party. It reflects the strong friendships and wonderful sense of community our children have built together.

Celebrating milestones alongside their peers helps strengthen these special bonds and creates memories they can treasure.

🎂💗 Our Tweenz Are Growing… and Wonder Kidz Is Growing With Them! 💗🎂

This Saturday, we’re coming together for a very special August Birthday Club, celebrating our beautiful Tweenz and another year of growth, memories, friendships and becoming more of who they are. 🥳🎈

There’s something so emotional about watching the children who have grown with Wonder Kidz become teenagers and young adults. 🥹💕

As they grow, their needs grow and change too, and so must we.

That’s why we continue to listen, learn and reshape our services around the young people in our Wonder Family. We don’t want them ever to feel that they have “outgrown” the place where they feel safe, accepted, and understood. Instead, we want Wonder Kidz to grow alongside them. 🌱

And this beautiful journey is helping shape our next chapter: Wonder Mates. 💜

Wonder Mates is being created for our older teens and young adults who still need that familiar, safe, and understanding space as they transition beyond school somewhere they can keep building independence, friendships, confidence, and life skills at their own pace, without pressure or judgement.

Because growing older shouldn’t mean losing your village. ❤️

So this Saturday, we’re not only celebrating birthdays 🎂, we’re celebrating growth, belonging, friendship and the beautiful young people our Tweenz are becoming.

After the beautiful success of our previous camps, we are so excited to bring our Wonder Family together once again for another unforgettable adventure!

Our camps are more than just a getaway; they are a safe and welcoming place where our Wonder Kidz can truly be themselves, feel accepted, build friendships and create precious memories surrounded by people who understand and care for them.

From swimming and outdoor games to storytelling, creativity and nature adventures, every moment will be filled with fun, connection and belonging. 💛

There are moments when I stop and look at what Wonder Kidz has become, and my heart is full.

People often ask me how many children I have. My answer is always the same... I have three. My two beautiful boys, and my third child... Wonder Kidz. 💜

Wonder Kidz was born from a mother's heart. A heart that once felt alone, overwhelmed, and desperate to find a place where my children could simply belong. I know what it's like to carry the invisible weight, to wonder if anyone truly understands, and to feel like you're walking this journey by yourself.

To every parent, grandparent, carer, and family... I see you. I hear you. And I understand you. Because I'm still on this rollercoaster with you every single day.

The Wonder Family is our chosen family. It's the place where we leave our masks at the door. Where there are no expectations to fit in, no demands to be someone you're not, and absolutely no judgement.

There is only acceptance.
There is only belonging.
There is only love, laughter, and joy.

Together, we celebrate every tiny milestone, support each other through the hard days, and remind one another that none of us has to do this alone.

Thank you for trusting me with your precious children, for believing in my dream, and for allowing Wonder Kidz to become the village so many of us were searching for.

With a heart full of gratitude, I am incredibly honoured to share that I, Rawan Younes, Founder of Wonder Kidz, have been named a finalist in the Disability Services category of the 2026 AusMumpreneur Awards! 💗

Wonder Kidz was born from my journey as a mother of neurodiverse children and my dream of creating the village I once needed: a safe, loving and judgement-free place where every child is welcomed and celebrated exactly as they are.

Our values of Being, Belonging and Becoming are at the heart of everything we do. We give our children the freedom to be themselves, the love and acceptance to know they truly belong, and the support to grow in their own time and in their own beautiful way.

This recognition would never have been possible without our amazing Wonder Kidz families. Thank you for trusting me with your precious children, believing in my vision and supporting me as Wonder Kidz has grown. Your love, encouragement and faith in me have carried me through every challenge and helped turn this dream into the beautiful Wonder Family we have today.

Thank you for allowing me to walk beside you, learn from your children and become part of your journeys. Every child has added something special to my heart and helped shape Wonder Kidz into what it is today.

This finalist recognition belongs to all of us: my boys, who inspired everything; our wonderful children; their beautiful families; and our caring team.
