There was a time I felt like I was always trying to get it “right” with my health

Starting again on a Monday
Trying to be more disciplined
Wondering why nothing ever seemed to stick

From the outside, everything looked fine
But inside, it felt exhausting

I spent years in that cycle
Thinking I just needed more willpower

But what I’ve come to realise is
It was never about trying harder

It was about changing the way I approached my health altogether

Moving away from rules and restriction
And learning to actually listen to my body

Choosing simple nutrition
Supportive movement
And consistency over perfection

That’s when things started to shift

Not just physically
But mentally and emotionally too

And it’s why I do what I do today

Because so many women still feel like they’re the problem

When really, they’ve just been taught a way that doesn’t support them

This work isn’t about doing more

Lately, I’ve been having more and more conversations with women who are quietly struggling.

Their bodies feel stiff and sore
They’re not sleeping properly
Their energy is low even after resting
They don’t feel like themselves anymore

They open their wardrobe and nothing feels right

They avoid certain situations because their confidence has dropped

And underneath it all, there’s frustration, confusion, and a bit of sadness

Not because they don’t care about their health

But because they’ve tried and nothing seems to stick

So they start to wonder
“Is this just how it is now?”

I want you to know it doesn’t have to stay this way

Your body isn’t working against you
It’s asking for support in a different way

No one talks about how confusing “healthy eating” has become.

There is so much information out there and many women feel overwhelmed before they even begin.

You try to do the right thing.
You make changes.
You put in the effort.

But instead of feeling better you feel tired, stuck, and unsure of what actually works.

And that can be incredibly disheartening.

I support women over 40 to cut through the noise and come back to what really matters.

Simple, nourishing food.

Skipping meals or eating too little slows your energy right down.

2. You’re relying on quick fixes, coffee, sugar, or processed snacks give short bursts, then crashes.

“I lost weight so quickly at the start then it stopped.”

I hear this all the time.

And I want you to understand something really important

That quick release in the first few weeks?
It’s often not body fat.

It’s fluid.

When you change the way you’re eating, your body uses stored energy (glycogen)
and with that, it releases water.

So yes
the weight releases quickly.

You might feel less bloated.
Your clothes might feel a little looser.

But then things slow down.

And this is the moment many women think, It’s not working.

So they stop.
Or start again the next Monday.

This is where the cycle continues.

But the truth is

Nothing has gone wrong.

This is where real change actually begins.

Because real lasting results aren’t about quick drops on the scale they are built through consistent, supportive habits over time.

Nourishing your body
Moving in a way that feels good
Shifting the way you think about food and yourself

That’s where the magic is.

I’ve worried about what people might think. I’ve worried about not being perfect.

But staying quiet about diet culture and the harm it causes women, would be a bigger mistake.

So I’m choosing to show up.

Imperfect. Courageous. Committed.

I’ll be running my webinar every week because this conversation matters. And you matter.

What is diet culture?

It’s the belief that your worth is tied to your body,
that restriction equals health,
and that you should always be starting again on Monday.
