After seeing the positive effects that Colon Hydrotherapy and gut health had on herself and loved ones, it was a no-brainer that becoming a Colonic Hydrotherapist was a must do for Joanne. In 2020, Joanne started her Colonics journey and started studying Colonics and anatomy and everything she could get her hands on. Her studies stalled when she lost her dad and sister and the world closed down on

ly to pick up the books again but this time, she had no plans to stop studying as she had a legacy to fulfill. Finally finishing her studies and practical training in Traditional Colonics (Closed system), she began working at a clinic until opening her own Colonics and Wellness Centre in May 2023. In typical Joanne fashion, her hunger and thirst for knowledge led her to spend some time in Queensland, learning more about Colonics and becoming proficient in a new modern technique called the Rojas Technique. This technique is gentler than the traditional pressurized methods as it focusses on hydrating the body as well as elimination. In December 2022, finally saw Joanne saying goodbye to her corporate career - yes, she had been working two jobs while her Colonics career took off and she is happy to say, that Colonics is where her heart is. Joanne's Temple Colonics & Wellness Centre is located at
291 Childs Road, Mill Park, Melbourne.

Hi friends,

Have you over indulged in comfort food or spent too much time on the couch this winter?

You’re not the only one ☹

Thankfully, we’re in the final few days of winter. I can almost smell the spring air – I say almost because earlier in the week we had some gorgeous weather and then here we are in Melbourne, doing what Melbourne does best…..rain!

I know right, talk about teasing us.

Anyway, if you’re wanting to start the process of getting your body “Spring” ready, come see us, we’re ready to help. Colonics is a great way to kick start any health regime.

To help you along, from Monday 24th August until Monday 31st of August, we are offering a FREE coffee infusion with all Colonics appointments, valued at $30🥳🥳. Yayyyy!!!

If you have always wanted to try a coffee infusion, this is your sign to have one for FREE!

Coffee is an amazing addition to a colonic as it stimulates the liver to produce more bile which contain enzymes necessary for detoxification. Coffee also relives constipation, boosts immunity, increases energy – the benefits are endless 😊

This offer is available for my returning clients only because having a coffee on your first ever colonics appointment can feel a little daunting. If you are contraindicated to coffee you may choose greens or turmeric as an alternative. Please advise at the time of booking.

Book online at our website www.joannestemplecolonics.com.au or message/call Ph: 0414-481-480 and we'll book you in. Mention this offer or enter the code WINTERCOFFEE at checkout and we’ll have a brewed gold blend waiting for your bottom to enjoy 😊

We can’t wait to see you.... and the nice spring weather (whenever it decides to arrive) 🌻🙏

See you soon x

Hi friends,

It's definitely the season for letting go and that's exactly what my beautiful client did - they let it go!

Sometimes when we have a bowel movement, we don't always get it all out and it becomes impacted. That's where colonics can help by hydrating and softening that impacted p**p for an easier release.

There's nothing more satisfying than seeing toxins and old p**p being released...🤗

If you would like to see what's lurking in your colon, come see me and we can look together. Book online or call/message.

Look forward to seeing you soon 🌻

Hi friends,

Full Moon & Parasites

Have you noticed you feel different around the full moon?

Many people on a parasite cleansing journey notice that their symptoms seem to flare up around the full moon. This is when parasites become more active, moving around the body, feeding, and reproducing more than usual.

When this happens, you may find that symptoms you have been managing suddenly feel more noticeable.

Some people experience:
• Poor sleep or waking during the night
• Increased anxiety or feeling emotional
• Sugar cravings
• Digestive changes such as diarrhoea or constipation
• More aches and pains
• Low energy, weakness, or fatigue
• Feeling generally "off" for a few days

If you have ever wondered why you feel worse around the full moon, you're not alone. Many people experience this and use full moon time as a reminder to support their body with plenty of water, nourishing foods, adequate rest, and by staying consistent with their wellness routine. Colonics can definitely help and is a great support during this period.

Remember, everyone's body is different.

Paying attention to your own patterns can be a helpful way to better understand what your body needs and when it may need a little extra support.

If you want to see what's lurking in your colon - especially at full moon on Thursday (and the lead up to the full moon), come see me and let's look together!

We look forward to seeing you soon xx

Hi friends,

In winter, we typically move into hibernation mode and some days are harder to feel motivated or stay focused. However, winter is a great time to make some changes.

Did you know that our Colon has the capacity to hold up to 7kg of waste?

I know right! That’s up to 7kg of extra “weight” we’re holding on to as well as toxins that are being reabsorbed into our bloodstream. No wonder we sometimes feel like “crap” – literally!

Not going to lie but diets and anything to do with weight loss sends an anxious shiver down my spine because one size doesn't fit everyone and there are many reasons why people "hold on to" weight or excess p**p.

Losing weight doesn’t have to be about “all that hard stuff” of strict dieting and vigorous exercise – it can be as simple as making a few small changes.

Here are 10 things you can do to turn your winter couch bod into a summer beach bod, once winter is over.

1. Have regular colonics (of course…)
2. Drink at least 2+ lit of water daily
3. Eat fresh food instead of processed foods
4. Soak in the sunshine – this is so good for mental and overall health
5. Move your body to music, dance like no one is watching – especially while doing housework
6. Be out in nature – your body will thank you for the peaceful surroundings
7. Relax the mind – meditation, prayer, gardening, even washing the dishes
8. Reduce stress and let go of that negative emotion – yes “hanging on to stress” causes havoc to our gut, our weight and can cause constipation too
9. Sleep well - a good nights sleep does wonders to the body and nervous system.
10. Exercise – you don’t have to have a gym membership to exercise - go for a walk, do stretches while watching tv,
gardening is a great workout as is vacuuming and mopping the floor.

A few small changes can make the world of difference to our health, wellbeing and mental health. What are some things on your list? Feel free to share.

In the meantime want to see what’s lurking in your colon? Come see me. Book online at www.joannestemplecolonics.com.au or call/message to 0414-481-480. You will find me at 291 Childs Road, Mill Park.

Look forward to seeing you soon!🌻🌺🪱

Hi friends,
This week has been a tough week as I lost one of my regular clients to cancer.

Those who know my story, know I got into colonics because of my sister, who used colonics to remove the toxins from her body during her cancer journey.

Since starting my business, I see many clients from all walks of life who have many reasons for doing colonics – some for general health and wellness and many for lifetime constipation and other illnesses.

Cancer clients – especially terminal cancer clients - always hit home for me as it brings up my own emotions and feelings.

Like many who are faced with the uncertainty of what their illness may bring, this particular client did everything in her power to fight this. She did a combination of both alternative and western medicine, she had an amazing integrated doctor who encouraged her and was open for her to explore other treatments, and most importantly, she had an amazing family who all banned together to make her life easier. One would prepare her juices, one would take her to appointments, another cleaned her house, another cared for her special needs child – nothing was too much trouble because they wanted to see her well.

For the past 57 weeks, I would see her weekly, occasionally twice a week. I didn’t see her as a client but more as a family member because we shared stories and recipes and photos of our loved ones – each week she would ask me about my children and grandchild and every week she would share news of a new baby entering her family or of an upcoming wedding or engagement or family get together.

Her appointments were special.

She was special.

I am absolutely heartbroken for her family because I understand their pain. The pain of not being able to pick up the phone to talk to her, the pain of despair because they will forever ask “was there something else I could have done for her” or “did I do enough”, the pain of not hearing her speak or laugh, the pain of not seeing her every day.

To Mrs S - I am grateful to have been a part of your journey, grateful you trusted me each week and I am grateful to have known you. RIP in God's Kingdom Mrs S.

Hi friends,

"Healthy habits as children grow to healthy habits as adults".

The habits we teach our children when they are young will stay with them well into their adulthood, when they are old enough to make their own choices.

But what if the habits we have taught them are "bad habits"?

As a parent, it is our responsibility to feed our children well (and make sure they are exercising and moving) and I am often told by clients that "my kids won't eat their vegies so I give them what they want so they eat instead”.....

Sadly, this mostly encourages bad eating habits. Now, I am not here to judge, and as a parent to now adult children, there were many times as a working mum when the kids were young, that a fast-food option was the easiest option back then, when time was poor.

Looking back, meal prepping was a better option - if only we could turn back time...

Diet plays a major part in our kids’ health and wellness - sugary and highly processed foods, additives and preservatives, as does exercise and screen time.

School holidays is a great time to re-assess and re-set our kids habits and flip that switch to healthier options instead.

With one week left of the school holidays, what switch are your children going to flip?

If you want to see what's lurking in your colon, come see me :)

Look forward to seeing you soon.

Enemas have been around for y.e.a.r.s and gently inserting warm water into the colon via the re**um isn’t anything new.

In fact, back in the 1900’s in Germany, coffee e***as were first used clinically for post-operative pain relief during WW1.

Later in the 1930’s Dr. Max Gerson popularised coffee e***as in his treatments to treat TB, diabetes and eventually cancer. The Gerson Institute is still around today.

So, what is an e***a and what do they do?

In basic terms, an e***a is either a silicon bag or stainless-steel small container that has a hose and small tube attached to it that is then inserted in the re**um. Warm liquid (water, coffee, teas etc.), is gently released to “fill” the colon. The idea is to “hold” this liquid and then release on the toilet. It really is that simple!

Enemas help soften the stool and stimulate peristalsis with the goal of releasing any built-up toxins and impacted stool from the bowel. Some people have instant relief from bloating and constipation when doing e***as at home.

A coffee e***a is an e***a that uses coffee instead of plain filtered water. The coffee is absorbed through the mesenteric veins and travels directly to the liver, completely bypassing the digestive system. Bile production is stimulated; the bile ducts are dilated so the liver can do what it’s supposed to do!

The best thing about coffee e***as is that it can increase the livers production of glutathione by up to 700%.

Of course, the effects of drinking coffee versus doing a coffee e***a are different. Drinking coffee is dehydrating and doesn’t have the same benefits as doing a coffee e***a.

Knowing the benefits of Coffee e***as, why wouldn’t you do them!

Enemas can be done in the privacy of your own home or at Joanne’s Temple Colonics, we can add coffee to your next colonics appointment.

Book online or call/message and we'll book you in! Details in the bio.

We can't wait to see you and your liver will thank you.

See you soon xx
