We are excited to welcome two new GP registrars - Dr Sharon Ieong & Dr Isiri Wickramarachchi. They bring fresh knowledge, energy, and a passion for patient care. This means more appointment availability and shorter waiting times for you and your family.

GP Registrars are fully qualified and registered doctors, i.e. they have completed medical school and various rotations in the hospitals. They are currently on a GP speciality training course, which involves rotations to various GP clinics under a GP supervisor. All GPs must undergo this training before they are able to practice independently.

Have you had your annual heart health check ?
20-30 minutes is all it takes to find out your risk of heart attack or stroke in the next 5 years ⏰. Act now and keep your heart healthy ❤️

What should you expect in your Heart Health Check?
Your nurse will check your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels.
A discussion about your history and lifestyle eg diet, Physical activity levels, smoking , alcohol intake, medical and family history etc . An ECG will also be done. Next, your GP uses the information gathered to assess your risk of having a heart attack or stroke in the next five years.
If needed, your GP or nurse will organise further tests.

How much does a Heart Health Check cost?
Consult is BULK BILLED ( *ECG costs $20 )

If required , we will organise further tests inc Echo, Holter or cardiologist review for CTCA dependant on risk.

BULK BILLED Echocardiograms & Holter service available inhouse at Lilydale Doctors ( provided by Heart of Melbourne )
