Following on from our work on visibility in kinesiology sessions last week, and encouraged by a conversation with my friend Meggs from .dance earlier this week, I'm sharing a little bit of my weird self with you today.
This week, kinesiology sessions have been about giving ourselves permission to be our weird and wonderful, authentic selves, and feeling safe and protected to continue to do so moving forward.
How will our people find us if we don't let them know we're here? And to the right people, we won't seem so weird anyway! 😉🌈
So in honour of that, here is a photo of my simmer pot that I brewed during the last new moon to welcome in abundance and prosperity, that included:
🍋 Lemon for a fresh start, to uplift and bring in globes of healing light, like a breath of fresh air.
🌿 Bay leaves to manifest financial abundance
✨ Rosemary to cleanse and clear negative energy and provide protection
🔥 Cinnamon for warmth and to bring a sense that more is coming
Really it's not so weird, herbs have been used as medicine for centuries. Add to that the science of aromatherapy: our sense of smell is the strongest sense we have when we are born, deeply connected to the amygdala — the emotional centre of the brain, responsible for emotional memory and our fight-or-flight response. This makes aromatherapy a powerful tool for creating emotional awareness, supporting alignment, and restoring balance.
Regardless of the outcome, it smelled beautiful and was a lovely ritual to put my intention into for the month.
Are you holding yourself back for fear of judgement?
Maybe this will inspire you to show a little more of your weird and wonderful self too! 🩷✨
