At what point do you stop honouring what you built…
and start honouring who you’ve become?

There’s a tension in growth that doesn’t get spoken about enough.

The thing that once gave you clarity, identity, momentum can quietly become the thing that limits you.

Not because it’s wrong.
But because you’re no longer the same person who created it.

Most people feel it.
Fewer act on it.

Because stepping beyond something you’ve built requires a different level of self-trust and a willingness to be seen again, without the structure you once stood behind.

This is where things shift.
Not in the strategy.
In the identity.

For me, this next chapter is anchored in something deeper:
reducing suffering and pain in the world, one person at a time.

Your vibe attracts your tribe…. 💖

There have been many moments over the past few years where I’ve questioned my own strength.

Moments where life felt uncertain.
Moments where I was tired.
Moments where fear sat quietly beside me.

And yet life kept moving.
Motherhood kept calling.
Leadership kept asking more of me.

What I’ve come to realise is this:

Strength rarely feels strong while you are living it.

Most women I know are carrying enormous responsibility — families, careers, healing, relationships, decisions that shape entire futures.

And still they keep showing up.

Sometimes with certainty.
Sometimes with doubt.
Sometimes simply because there is no other option.

But they show up.

And perhaps the most important thing I’ve realised is this:

Little eyes are always watching how we move through the hard seasons of life.

On 8 March, and every other day, let’s take a moment to recognise the strength it takes to keep showing up. 💪🏻

I recently heard Adam Grant discussing “the babble effect” in a conversation with Oprah Winfrey.

The premise is simple — and uncomfortable:

The loudest person in the room is often assumed to be the most capable.
The most vocal contributor is often assumed to be the highest potential.
And as a result, they’re frequently the first to be promoted.

Yet the evidence doesn’t consistently support this.

In healthcare businesses especially, some of the most impactful people:

• Think deeply before they speak
• Process internally
• Observe patterns others miss
• Deliver consistently rather than perform visibly
• Influence quietly through behaviour, not volume

If leadership attention is skewed toward those who “show up” verbally, we risk:

– Overlooking high-potential talent
– Reinforcing performative leadership
– Creating cultures that reward noise over substance

A more mature leadership stance asks:

Who is creating outcomes — not just airtime?
Who is growing quietly?
Who is trusted by peers?
Who demonstrates judgement, emotional regulation, and follow-through?

At Reflect First Wellness, we hold the view that capability expresses itself in multiple forms.

Our responsibility as owners and leaders is not to reward loudness —
but to design environments where different working styles can be seen, developed, and valued.

Because great leaders are not always the ones speaking first.
Often, they’re the ones thinking longest.

Been a bit quiet on the gram…. everything for a reason….

2026 didn’t arrive with a rush.
It arrived quietly.
Slow mornings. Fewer people. Clearer edges.

I chose intention over urgency.
Depth over noise.
And only those who can meet me in my authenticity.

This year isn’t about proving.
It’s about ease.
About allowing myself to bloom without forcing the petals open.

More faith in me.
More trust in what I’m capable of.
Less resistance. Less pushing. Less explaining.

I’m letting life meet me where I am —
and for the first time in a long time,
that feels enough. 🪷
