Our amazing Employment Coach Lead Hayley and Relationship Officer Alex attended the Wyndham Disability Connection Expo at Encore Events Centre in Hoppers Crossing 🤝💙

It was fantastic to engage with so many participants, families, and fellow stallholders—sharing stories, building meaningful connections, and celebrating opportunities together 🌱✨

A big thank you to the Wyndham City Council Wyndham Disability Services Network for hosting such a well-run and inspiring event 👏💫 We loved being part of a day that truly champions inclusion, connection, and community!

Since 2025, 4gr has proudly partnered with , and we want to take a moment to sincerely thank their incredible team for creating such a welcoming, supportive, and inclusive environment for our participants 🙏

4gr Mentor Karolina shared how rewarding this journey has been, expressing her sincere gratitude to MOW Campbelltown Team Manager Qyuen and her team.

Their honesty, transparency, commitment to volunteer safety, and exceptional logistical planning have truly left a lasting impression on all of us at 4gr 🙌

✨ Meals on Wheels South Australia plays a vital role in supporting the community by delivering nutritious meals, fostering social connection, and promoting independence for individuals—powered by dedicated volunteers and a strong community spirit.

A huge shoutout also to our participant Ian 👏—who has now completed 4 shifts, progressing from supported shifts with Karolina to working independently. Ian is a deliverer, joining a driver on each shift 🚗🍲 Together, they follow a delivery run of up to 15 homes across 4 hours, with Ian playing a key role in delivering meals directly to each customer’s door.

Now officially on the roster every Friday, Ian is building confidence each week—and working towards his next goal of becoming a driver 🚀

We are so grateful to Meals on Wheels SA for partnering with us and opening doors for participants like Ian to grow, contribute, and thrive 🌟

It was amazing to see a room full of passionate providers coming together with one shared goal—creating meaningful opportunities for students as they transition beyond school 🚀🎓

A special shoutout to NDIS Navigator & Family Liaison Melissa and Senior Secondary Coordinator Molly for organising such a fantastic event. The resource guide was incredibly helpful—packed with valuable information to support young people and their families 📚💡

The vibe was incredible, with entertainment by .performers 🎶, delicious cupcakes from 🧁, and plenty of meaningful conversations that truly highlight the power of community and opportunity 💙

Such a fantastic opportunity for our 4gr crew! ✈️🌟

Our participants, alongside Employment Coach Lachlan and Employment Support Simon, had an incredible Work Taster experience at — getting a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the aviation industry and exploring exciting career pathways. 🙌

A huge thank you to Airport Resilience Manager Darren Savickas, who generously walked us through each area of the airport — from baggage check-in to security screening (which we all got to experience!), and through both the domestic and international terminals. ✨

Darren shared valuable insights into the many roles that keep the airport running, including security, grounds maintenance, café staff, and customer service.
Even more inspiring, Darren highlighted that Avalon Airport often recruits and promotes from within, with many team members starting out in gardening or customer care roles and growing their careers from there. 🚀

Hands-on learning, new insights, and plenty of inspiration for what’s possible! 💼✨ A huge thank you to Avalon Airport for creating such a welcoming and engaging experience for our participants. 👏

4gr Relationship Officer Alex had a wonderful morning joining St John of God Accord and Greenstaff Medical HomeCare in their special networking event with NDIS providers across Melbourne’s west.
With cupcakes, cuppas, and meaningful conversations, it was a great opportunity to connect with passionate providers—all while supporting Cancer Council’s Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea 🍰✨
For every attendee, St John of God Accord and Greenstaff Medical HomeCare donated $5 towards this incredible cause, making every conversation even more impactful.
Grateful to be part of such a supportive and community-driven sector 🙌
