Today, we celebrate a very special milestone - 10 years of A Better Life Home Care Services. 🎉💙

For the past decade, we have had the privilege of walking alongside our participants, families, carers, guardians, staff and community partners through countless everyday moments, achievements, outings, challenges, celebrations and new experiences.

Over the years, A Better Life has grown, but the heart of what we do has remained the same - supporting people to live with greater choice, confidence, independence and connection to their community.

This milestone belongs to everyone who has been part of our journey.

To our participants and families, thank you for your trust.
To our incredible staff, thank you for the care, patience and commitment you bring every day.

ometimes, the most meaningful moments are also the simplest ones. 🌿🐴

During a recent farm visit, our participant spent some quiet time with one of the horses - offering a feed, sharing a gentle interaction, and simply enjoying the moment.

There was no rush, no big activity, just a calm connection between two very happy souls.

Experiences like these can create space for confidence, curiosity, sensory engagement, and meaningful participation in the community. And sometimes, a peaceful moment with an animal can say more than words ever could.

Piece by piece, the picture starts to come together. 💙

Our participants enjoyed some relaxed jigsaw puzzle time, matching colours, spotting details, solving tricky sections, and celebrating those satisfying moments when the right piece finally fits.

Jigsaw puzzles are a simple but engaging way to encourage concentration, patience, problem-solving, coordination, and confidence - all while enjoying a calm and social activity together.

At A Better Life Home Care Services, we value activities that keep participants engaged, thinking, connecting, and enjoying the process at their own pace.

And yes… finding that one missing piece is still the biggest victory of the day! 😄🧩

A day at Safari Station = curious faces, animal encounters, plenty of laughs, and a few “wow” moments along the way! 🐾😄

Our participants and staff had a fantastic time exploring, seeing different animals up close, and enjoying the experience together.

Trips like this are a great way to encourage community participation, confidence, social connection, and new experiences in a fun and relaxed setting.
