Well, today was a success even though I clearly failed at attempting to take a 50 minute Mat class! Who was I kidding?! 😝

🌼 Carolyn, my incredible helper - this event wouldn’t have been possible without you, so THANK-YOU & to all of you for your support! How nice was it to have so many Pilates teachers (past instructors & one present of the Studio joining in today too!!!)

🌼 Please help me make a difference!!
In honour of a beautiful person who devastatingly lost her battle last year together with every cancer survivor I know & clients + friends who are currently battling this evil disease, I will be running this Fundraiser at the Studio in June.

🌼 Even if you can’t attend, could you contribute a small amount? Every bit counts!

🌼 If the Pilates mat class doesn’t work for you, drop on by to support the cause by purchasing a scone/another yummy treat & have some tea OR do some shopping!

🌼 Bookings essential for the Mat class as I can only fit a maximum of 15 mats comfortably in the Studio.

🙏 Massive thanks to one of my awesome clients, for helping me set this all up & printing the posters! I will get more printed tomorrow.

💫 It’s International Pilates Day! 💫

Getting in just before midnight! A collection of some of our hilarious & dedicated clients with a silly one of me at the end after a long shift - love what I do, the community I’ve created at on-Core & sharing Pilates with you all! I’ve had the Studio now for 12 years?! Time sure flies. Had to include the “torture ring” as well in the pics!
…”It’s Super Clive” made me laugh this week - what a fabulous duo these two were on Tuesday making the rest of their small group equipment class laugh as well! Not only hard work happening in the Studio on a daily basis but also loads of smiles + laughter! Thank you on-Core enthusiasts for keeping the Studio alive & to my magnificent instructors I’ve had throughout the years!

🐶🩵🐕 …& here he is! Introducing, Milo!!! The new delectable wooly addition has now been at the Studio for a week! He’s either in the playpen or on his little bed attached by his lead…but quite liked being close to me during Mums & Bubs class last week up on the elevated demonstrating table!
I think the love he is getting from the clients who have met him so far, is just wonderful. Thank you for the affection you’ve shown my teeny tiny cavoodle fur baby who needed to be rehomed. I hope his calm demenour doesn’t change but I do hope he stops barking at anything & everything that goes by the studio or when the door opens unless he’s asleep! •••Welcome, to on-Core’s therapy pup. Milo is 5 months old. •••
If you want cuddles only, you can always pop by, I promise I won’t be offended you’re not actually at the Studio to do Pilates! 😜 How can you resist that face?!
If this is any incentive to start Pilates though if you’ve been contemplating, this “hypoallergenic” 3/4 toy poodle, 1/4 cavalier is very friendly & even if he wasn’t, there is no way he wouldn’t be able to avoid becoming a “people dog!”
Thank you for making him so welcome on-Core legends! I’ve only wanted a dog for 35 years of my life! It all happened very quickly after I reached out to the advertisement on Gumtree - what I was worried may be a false ad (too good to be true) was actually legit….& he’s come from the most lovely breeder family. Meant to be. Love him to pieces! 🐶🩵🐕

Almost Term 2 & there will be a new wooly delectable addition arriving in the studio next week! The clients who I see know but I think he will bring a lot of love to on-Core🥰🫶
This year is flying by, like they all do, but we are looking forward to more of our clients being back in the Studio next week once the School Holidays have ended. Some classes have been quite a bit smaller these last couple of weeks. I do hope everyone had an incredible Easter & Passover. I’ve definitely turned into an Easter egg & hot cross bun combined! 😳

A reminder that with the cooler weather change, our arthritis flares up, we become a lot tighter all over as our bodies tense to get warm.
⚠️Alpha & spiky ball massaging against the wall is a beneficial way to warm up if you arrive early for your sessions & when there is no room on any mat or equipment to start moving the body. Add some wall roll downs in & even do a little jog on the spot, a shake out to really get some warmth into those bodies before your class commences.⚠️

•••First Aid & CPR training is being held at the Studio on Saturday 2nd May. I’m excited to not have to travel far to get my updated CPR this year.
