He believed in Bespoke Aesthetics before I did.

My career took me from the operating room, seeing trauma in real time, to facial plastic surgery and eventually cosmetic medicine.

When the time came to leave the security of the hospital and go all in on building something of my own, he never questioned it.

And then he quite literally helped me build it.

Behind so much of what you see is Kevin. Painting walls, building things, filming content, listening to every idea, being my resident skin treatment model and somehow still making dinner at the end of the day.

I’ll never pretend I built this life entirely on my own.

So yes, she probably wouldn’t have that clinic if it wasn’t for her husband. And I’m incredibly proud to be able to say that.

Happy first wedding anniversary to the man who believed in me before I fully believed in myself.

I wouldn’t have wanted to build any of this without you.

The path you choose shapes the practitioner you become.

COVID changed my timeline, not my destination. I worked exclusively in operating theatres across six major U.S. hospitals before moving to Australia.

When I moved to Australia, I finally pursued the path I’d planned all along. Rather than taking a short weekend injectables course, I committed to two years of postgraduate study, earning my Graduate Diploma of Cosmetic Nursing and Injectables.

I’ve now spent over 10 years as a registered nurse and the last three years practising aesthetic medicine in Australia.

Maybe that’s why I say no more often than people expect. Because I’ll always choose anatomy over trends and long-term outcomes over quick fixes, even when that means not treating at all.

I’ve learned that the moment you stop trying to please everyone and start protecting your standards, you’ll become the villain in someone’s story.

And I’m okay with that.

Because my job was never to be the most popular injector in Melbourne.

The goal was to become the practitioner patients trust when the goal is natural, thoughtful, evidence-based aesthetic medicine.

From the operating theatre to regenerative aesthetics. Different settings, same philosophy. Healthy tissue matters.

Recently, I had the opportunity to visit LHALA HQ in Seoul, South Korea, to continue my education in regenerative skin treatments.

Before entering medical aesthetics, I spent years working in the operating theatre alongside plastic and reconstructive surgeons. That experience gave me a unique perspective on the role tissue quality plays in healing, recovery and long term outcomes.

Today, that perspective continues to shape the way I practise.

My approach isn’t just about supporting facial structure. It’s also about improving the health and quality of the tissue that sits on that structure. Because when you prioritise tissue health, you’re investing in better ageing, better healing and better long term outcomes.

Education doesn’t stop once you qualify. I’m committed to continually learning from leaders in regenerative aesthetics around the world and bringing that knowledge back to my patients in Melbourne.

One of the biggest misconceptions in aesthetics is that treatment is the most important part of the appointment.

It isn’t.

The assessment is.

Before any treatment is recommended, patients should understand who is treating them, their qualifications, their experience, and why a particular approach has been recommended.

A 10 minute consultation may be enough to discuss a treatment.

It is rarely enough time to properly assess a face.

The patients who achieve the most natural looking outcomes are often the ones who take the time to understand their options before proceeding.

This is where skin meets structure.

We enhance facial volume and soften forehead lines, but we also take care of the skin itself. Because healthy skin and balanced structure work together, not separately.

In clinic, we speak a lot about how products are rarely simply “good” or “bad”. More often, they’re just being used incorrectly.

We’ve come to a Korean pharmacy to look at products heavily pushed to western audiences through Instagram and TikTok, and how they’re actually being used in Korea.

This next product is loved in Korea, but online it’s often marketed very differently to how it’s actually used. Many influencers claim it helps prevent new pimples, when in reality, that’s not necessarily what the product was designed for.

Korean skin care is heavily focused on hydration, barrier support, inflammation, and long term skin health. Sometimes the misunderstanding isn’t the product itself, it’s how people are using it, layering it, or what they expect it to do.

So, is this product underrated, misunderstood, or just being marketed incorrectly outside of Korea? Let’s talk about it.

Oh hey! Just me prioritizing skin like I do structure.

I’ll always talk about full facial balancing, not treating one area in isolation. Lips are rarely the starting point, there needs to be support through the chin, jawline, and masseters where needed for everything to sit properly.

I focus on structure a lot, but I’m just as intentional with the skin. Results don’t hold without it.

Home skincare is what supports your in clinic treatments. It’s how we maintain and extend your results, not just something extra.

If you’re not ready for in clinic treatments yet, that’s completely fine. Start with a curated at home routine and we build from there.

Consultations can be booked via Fresha.

Special interests in full facial balancing, lower face support including chin, jawline and masseters, and advanced skin treatments using Korean dermatological skincare.
