World Food Day | Small Actions, Big Impact
🍎🍋🥭🍐🍅🍑🫐🍇🍋‍🟩🍊🍌🍓

Food is more than just nourishment -
- it's an essential part of a healthy, thriving community-
Yet, while good-quality food goes to waste, many Australians continue to experience food insecurity.

At Office Fruit Group, we believe doing good should be part of doing business.
That's why we're proud to partner with OzHarxest, regularly donating surplus fresh fruit and milk to help reduce food waste and redirect quality food to Australians who need it most.

For us, it's about more than delivering fresh produce to workplaces.

It's about making a meaningful difference in our communities, taking responsibility for the food we handle, and ensuring good food has the opportunity to do good
This World Food Day, we encourage businesses to think about the impact they can make — because even small actions can contribute to a bigger change.

A little less waste. A little more care. A better outcome for everyone.

1. Support immune function
Navel oranges are rich in vitamin C, which supports normal immune system function and helps the body protect its cells from oxidative damage.

2. Support heart health
Oranges provide potassium and fibre, nutrients that can contribute to maintaining healthy blood pressure and cardiovascular health as part of a balanced diet.

3. Promote healthy digestion
The fibre in whole oranges helps support regular bowel movements and a healthy digestive system.

4. Help keep you hydrated
Oranges have a high water content, helping contribute to your daily fluid intake.

5. Support healthy skin
Vitamin C is essential for collagen production, which helps maintain normal skin structure and supports wound healing.

6. Help the body absorb iron
Vitamin C improves the absorption of non-haem iron found in plant foods, such as lentils, beans and leafy greens.

7. A naturally nutritious snack
Whole navel oranges provide fibre, vitamins and natural carbohydrates, making them a convenient alternative to many highly processed snacks.

Behind the scenes at Office Fruit Group •
Ever wondered what goes into getting the best fruit into your office?

It starts long before the delivery arrives.
Our buyers are up early, carefully sourcing and selecting the best quality seasonal fruit, looking at freshness, appearance, ripeness and overall quality.

Then it's over to our packing team -
- carefully checking, sorting and packing each order to
make sure the fruit that leaves our warehouse is something we're proud to put our name on.

Because when it comes to office fruit, quality isn't just about what's in the box - it's about the care that goes into filling it.

From the markets to our warehouse, and finally to your office - there's a whole team behind every box.

Happy National Fruit at Work Day!
🍎🍓🍊🍐🍌

Because sometimes the best workplace perk is the one sitting right in front of you.

Fresh fruit in the office means fewer trips to the vending machine, a colourful break from the desk and a simple way to encourage healthier choices throughout the day.

And let's be honest... every office has that one person who takes the last banana.

Happy national Fruit at Work Day from Office Fruit Group!

Keeping Australian workplaces fresh, one fruit bowl at a time.

Sometimes a banana can start a bigger conversation.

Today is RU OK? Day — a reminder that a simple "Are you OK?" can mean more than we realise.

In the workplace, wellbeing isn't always about big gestures. Sometimes it's:
• Having a coffee together
•Sharing a piece of fruit
• Checking in with a colleague
•Taking a few minutes to genuinely ask how someone is going

Because behind every desk is a person -and you never really know what someone might be carrying.

So today, grab a banana, grab a colleague and ask the question:
RU OK?

And remember, you don't need to be an expert to start a conversation.

Sometimes, simply listening is enough.
