Dovida creates a Circle of Care that places individuals at the centre of a holistic support system, uniting families, our skilled caregivers, our support teams, and the wider healthcare community. We provide a range of services including everyday companionship, domestic assist

ance, personal care, meal preparation, medication reminders, and transport to appointments, shopping and social outings. Care is available up to 24hrs a day and ranges from light housekeeping to dementia care and palliative care.

💙 Dementia Action Week | Free Community Information Event

As part of Dementia Action Week, we’re excited to be hosting a special community event at Dovida Briar Hill.

We’re bringing together some great speakers to help raise awareness, share information and support local families who may be navigating dementia and aged care.

Whether you’re living with dementia, supporting a loved one, caring for a parent, or simply want to learn more, we’d love for you to join us.

The session will provide an opportunity to learn more about dementia, navigating aged care, and the home care support available to help people remain living independently at home.

We had such a wonderful time at our Activity Hub on August 6th! ❤️
Our elderly participants and carers enjoyed a fun-filled day playing Italian card games, UNO, Scrabble, Snakes & Ladders and Dominoes, as well as creating their own beautiful gift cards. 🎨🃏
With plenty of laughter, friendship, morning tea and lunch, it was a lovely day spent together! 🥰

Last week our Briar Hill team had the privilege of welcoming local kindergarten children for a very special Intergenerational Activity.

There were smiles, laughter, colouring, stories, and plenty of wonderful conversations as young and old spent time together getting to know one another.

These moments remind us that connection has no age. Children gain wisdom, confidence and empathy, while older people enjoy companionship, purpose and the joy that little ones naturally bring.

Thank you to everyone who made today so special. We can't wait to do it again! ❤️
