Dear Little Me,
I know there were moments when you felt unseen, misunderstood, or like you had to grow up too quickly. I know you carried emotions you didnβt always know how to explain, and sometimes you learned to stay quiet, stay strong, or stay small just to feel safe or loved.
But I want you to know something now:
None of your softness was ever weakness.
None of your emotions made you βtoo much.β
And none of the hard moments defined your worth.
You were always worthy of love, reassurance, protection, and being chosen exactly as you are.
I see how hard you tried to make everyone around you happy. I see the way you searched for approval, wanting to feel enough. And I wish I could sit beside you in those moments, hold your hand, and tell you that you never had to earn love by proving yourself.
You are allowed to take up space.
You are allowed to feel deeply.
You are allowed to dream bigger than your fear.
I want you to know that the future version of you is still tender, but stronger now. She learned that healing is not about becoming someone new!!
Its about finally returning home to herself. She is learning to speak kindly to herself, to rest without guilt, to trust God more deeply, and to stop abandoning herself for the comfort of others.
The pain you carried became wisdom.
The battles you survived became strength.
And the love you longed for⦠you are now learning to give to yourself.
I promise to protect you now.
I promise to listen to you instead of silencing you.
I promise to stop judging your feelings and start honouring them.
You do not have to fight for your place anymore.
You belong here.
And even on the days when healing feels messy, I need you to remember this:
You made it.
You survived every moment you thought would break you.
And there is still so much joy, peace, purpose, and love waiting for you.
Iβm proud of you for never giving up.
Iβm proud of the light you kept alive.
Love always,
The woman you are becoming β€οΈ
