Hi everyone!

I’d like to introduce myself - my name is Jane Lucas and I am a 52 year old mother of two from the outer North East suburbs of Melbourne. My history is in mental health support work, psychosocial recovery coach and I am an accredited counsellor.

I am passionate about mental health and the impact having a break from day to day life. Lets face it, day to day life of appointments, responsibility, “same old / same old” can be very mundane.

I have started taking clients on accommodation / respite breaks, for 2 -5nights, to a house in St Leonards (on the Bellarine Peninsula – about 30 mins past Geelong). The house is fully equipped complete with board games, books, and some art supplies. All the participant need bring is themselves and their clothes and personal toiletries.

My usual arrangement is to pick up the client from their house at around 9.30/10am, travel to St Leonards (stopping for a delicious and nutritious lunch on the way), unpacking and then focusing on the clients chosen activities (as decided on before we go away). At the end of the stay I deliver the client to their home, feeling rejuvenated and refreshed having had a break from their normal routine.

My aim is to provide a high quality, service tailored to the client/s. I’d love to hear from people about what they want from STA, and how I can help them reach their goals, and if you are looking to work on something in particular, I’d be keen to chat about how I can help facilitate your needs/wants/goals.
I am willing to provide for either male or female, 1:1 or 1:2, from 2 - 5 nights.
