You can’t cure childhood allergies but you CAN recognise the patterns and control some of the triggers.

Here are some ways:
🧹 Clean and vacuum your home, especially using a vacuum with a HEPA filter.
🌬️ Use air purifiers with HEPA filters to capture airborne allergens.
🛏️ Wash bedding weekly in hot water and use allergen-proof covers for mattresses and pillows.
💧 Control humidity levels with dehumidifiers to prevent mould growth.
🪟 Keep windows closed during high pollen seasons.
👚 Change clothes and shoes when coming inside to avoid bringing outdoor allergens in. 🐾 Regularly groom pets and keep them out of bedrooms.
🧼 Use non-toxic, fragrance-free cleaning products.

When illness or injury means you’re unable to work, an Absence from Work Certificate may be available following a consultation with a TerryWhite Chemmart Pharmacist.

Our Pharmacists can assess your circumstances and, where appropriate, provide a certificate to support your absence from work — helping you focus on resting and recovering.

Walk-ins and in-store appointments are available at participating TerryWhite Chemmart pharmacies. Speak with our friendly team to find out more.
