I believe that the Prohibition of Cannabis is an unforgivable assault upon the 228 million Human Beings around the world who choose to use cannabis, Human Beings who participate & contribute to our society. Our society is a better place because Human Beings like Carl Sagen, William Shakespeare, Queen Victoria, Willie Nelson, Snoop Dogg, Paul McCartney, Bill Gates, Richard Branson, Steven King, Allen Ginsberg, I could continue for days naming successful people who also used cannabis people who have each contributed greatly to our world, from entertainers to educators, Quantum physicists to Queens we are everywhere in society but its safer to not be seen.

How Does Legalising Cannabis Impact Australia

More Importantly

How Do You Make The Most Of Cannabis Legalisation
Part 1

The emergence of any new Industry is exciting & offers something beyond the new jobs that it creates and tax's it provides into the public purse to fund our schools and hospitals, it brings something all too rare in our world today , It brings Life into the community it brings a sense of hope that Australia could once again be back in business after decades of being treated like a Garage Sale by our previous and present Government's.

Lets not avoid the elephant in the room Yes it's Cannabis & yes its legalisation and developing new enviromentally friendly industries we are talking about,

While there will always be challenges & obstacles in the initial stages of any new industry the century of propaganda demonization the of cannabis plant ceates firtile ground for misinformation to take root. This may create some hurdles unique to this industry from staffing & technology to regulatory uncertainty however they are far from insurmountable. Once the challenges are met & the obstacles overcome the substantial benefits can begin to be realised from the emerging markets.

Today I want to talk to you about becoming aware of those potential benefits before they have emerged and before the potential been realised so that you make the most of the advance notice to position yourself to best take advantage of those opportunities as they emerge.

With the recent amendments to the Narcotics Control Act which came into effect on Sun 30th Oct 2016, the opportunity to apply for a cultivation licence has been available, this quickly attracted interest by a number of overseas company's already involved in the Medical Cannabis Cultivation & Supply Industry where Cannabis is already legally produced..

This should make it pretty obvious that this isn't some flash in the pan travelling salesman coming to town make a quick buck never to be seen again opportunity, No this is not & do you know why this is not, do you know why this opportunity has potential bigger than coal as an export and do you know why ?,

For one simple reason, Cannabis unlike our coal or uranium or even our oil and gas, Cannabis is not finite, it wont run out year after year Cannabis will keep growing & year after year a little bit more of its potential will emerge to be realised and capitalised upon,
A 100% renewable resource that as a side benefit makes a great carbon trap giving it a place at the table in upcoming emission targets
with the potential synergy of creating building materials with the fibres which can be used to create a range of very strong and versatile building material's, this manufacturing process of the fibres into building materials would literally trap the carbon forever, with bridges in Europe created from Cannabis based materials dating back centuries that still stand..

That is a project for future consideration as the present limitations would not allow a large enough cultivation area for the biomass required for that type of project as yet however it gives a glimpse into a future where a potential industry based on the production of an environmentally friendly range of building materials as varied as was the range of asbestos products, it is possible to use cannabis fibre to make every single product that was previously manufactured with asbestos, in fact cannabis can do anything that asbestos can do except for 1 thing, Cannabis isn't capable of killing anyone.

There are so many support industries that will be required by the cannabis industry as it develops in Australia & I want us to be there guiding those developments as a stakeholder and increasing the scope of the industry through the development of the Industry stakeholders, using networking and cooperation between the stakeholders increases the level of influence the Industry has in the decision making process as the industry develops..

The opportunity to create a Professional Standards Association in order to create a platform to influence future Industry operations or regulation, a platform from which to promote the Industry Agenda and Regulatory Changes being sought in the future, this would basically be a group of Lobbyists promoting Industry interests while Appearing to be an Independent Industry Association promoting professional standards within the Industry. The creation of this body should be incorporated into the business plan as a primary project once the licence is granted.

Even with the limitations of the prospective licences and regulatory requirements the potential areas of employment created by this first step is far larger than you may have possibly considered, For instance as I am sure you will have just now perhaps immediately thought gardeners or farmers & you would be correct,
they will require people to grow the cannabis plants,

which then creates a need for the materials to grow the plants,

which then requires equipment to place the materials in which to grow the plant,

which then requires a place to grow the plants,

which then requires construction

which then requires custom design,

which then requires standards,

which then provides the opportunity for control

the staffing of the facility is also far wider ranging than many would imagine, consider the various activities involved in the cultivation of vegetation on a large scale in a controlled environment, from the variety of maintenance tasks in the facility & the constant cycle of inspection the facility will require to maintain optimum conditions for cultivation, This dependence is not an isolated incident and even a cursory investigation will illustrate that this dependence upon the bulb changers and spanner hands that keep the lights burning bright and stop the wheels falling off.
The opportunity to create a service provision department tasked with training and verifying the legal requirements have been met for any person wishing to work in the medical cannabis cultivation and research industry.

The development of a service providing temp staffing from a pool of avail and security cleared personnel who are capable of fulfilling the required tasks until the employer finds a suitable new candidate for the position, based on usual staff turnover in similar industries and the calculation of staff sickness and holidays there would be a constant need for quite a large team of Temps in each state where the industry establishes a growing or processing facility.

Then of course there will be a constant demand for cultivation and production materials ensuring the viability of production facilities and generating employment possibilities within areas requiring just such a stimuli.
Specialised support industries will emerge providing services that offer a symbiotic relationship such as the obvious need for specialised equipment for the cleaning and servicing of both hydroponic channel and pipe systems to the multitude of filters and associated consumable in the various air supply and extraction systems,
the potential symbiosis or perhaps even synergy that the combination of a willing provider to supply the said services and a willing consumer who required these services, could result in a consumer defining the procedure that the provider will model his service provision on the parameters established providing the service to the consumer, a reliable consumer allows a willing provider the foundation to provide services in an increased number of consumers.

The nature of the Industry will require the Development and Implementation of security protocols and procedures dealing with everything from day to day operations such as controlling all entry and access to the facility including the procedures regarding entry and exit of all personnel and the guidelines and security induction for any Visitors or Contractors entering the facility,
there will be a need for protocols for the transportation of cannabis,
for the destruction of no longer required cannabis materials,
for the handling & testing of the cannabis samples,
even for the simple act of trimming becomes a security operation when each leaf will most likely be required to be accounted for, during the what I can imagine will be quite often random audit and inspections from whichever body gains control of the cannabis regulation responsibilities for which they will probably charge the licence holder a fee for conducting the Audit.

Oh part two is already up yay

Nice afternoon at the pub for our favourite Canna Advocate,

28/11/2023

I was going through some of my old post material from the days before live-streaming my thoughts directly, and I found the message that kicked off that little spat with NCPIC after they released another piece of propaganda on medical cannabis. a spat that lasted months and resulted in them losing their funding lol
I've included samples of their so-called facts in my message
Check it out:
I just took the time to read the latest of your info on medical cannabis and was curious as to why you did not mention in the preamble that it was a work of fiction, for instance, your introduction seems deficient in a few facts:
Prior to the development of modern science, cannabis was used as a medicine.
1 It enjoyed a brief period of popularity as a medicinal herb in Europe and the United States in the 1800's being prescribed for various conditions including menstrual cramps,, asthma, cough, insomnia, birth labor, migraine, throat infection & withdrawal from op**te use.
2 Because of the problems with titrating the dose there were issues with patients being given too little or too much resulting in anything from no effect to adverse effects.
Cannabis was removed from the register of medicines in the early twentieth century in the USA and made illegal at around the same time.
Firstly to state the removal of cannabis from the medicine list was because it was unable to be safely dosed, control the quality or to say it's medical use was limited or only for brief period of time in the 1800's,
Well quite simply that's like saying the cow has had a brief use as the source of beef. Cannabis use in medicine can be traced back over four thousand years & in use by our culture for as long as recorded history consider the irony that much of the records of ancient history was probably first recorded on a cannabis derived product.
Consider the simple facts, such as why if it was so difficult to use Cannabis as a medicine what was the reason for the American Medical Association to petition the INCB (International Narcotic Control Board) to not place cannabis into schedule 1 and not to remove it from their range of treatment options and to maintain availability for research purposes.
There is also a failure to mention cannabis was a highly successful treatment for epilepsy and a number of assorted spasmodic conditions and yet with no other effective medication replacement available at the time nor has an effective medication been developed since the medication was withdrawn, There is no avoiding the simple truth, Cannabis was & is still the only effective treatment a fact which has been known to the field of medicine for hundreds of years which really makes the millions of men women and children who lost their lives prematurely some after many years of pain & suffering and others after very few all these deaths caused by something that could have been successfully treated. Instead they label the conditions untreatable forcing those that want to live and wish to have some element of quality of life being able to go to school make friends and do what everyone else considers just normal daily activities rather than being filled with steroids and statins in a semi conscious state depending on others to wipe their backsides for the limited life they will experience.
Are you not getting tired of doing nothing but distributing lies and misleading propaganda which is intended to harm the 30-40% of Australians who use cannabis regularly & responsibly as they have for decades with NO harmful effects and on a personal level over thirty years of ongoing use and hitting half a century without any serious illness whatsoever I would be interested in exactly how long a term of use is required for all these long term effects we hear so much about. Try supplying factual information about cannabis and get behind the truth instead of standing like fools in the market place telling everyone the end is nigh. the kids all have google in their smart phones and their parents are either my generation or my oldest kids generation so they already know the truth. Earn a bit of respect by respecting the truth and lets work together to make this work properly you cant stop it happening at this point and need to realise how much work is required to even understand the potential impact and opportunities if planned and implemented correctly, transitioning industries where the biomass is the more economical option developing a dept to regulate both cultivation and availability. The need to top this charade of ignoring facts & publication of statements such as this:
• addiction
• adverse psychological effects including impaired judgement and thinking
• delusional thoughts, anxiety and depression, psychosis (all conditions that may persist)
• persistent cognitive decline
• physical problems including circulation (such as stroke and heart attack) and lung problems (chronic cough, sputum production, wheezing and bronchitis) and some cancers
• financial problems

# All respected peer reviewed study's conclude cannabis is Not Addictive

# All short term effects of intoxication with a much less harmful impact than alcohol

There are no links between cannabis use and any form of mental illness all claims of predisposition being activated by cannabis use have been categorically dis-proven in many studies from institutions such as Harvard University, these studies consistently showed no causation between cannabis use and schizophrenia as have all factual peer reviewed study'son the subject. There is evidence of efficacy in the results from a series of clinical trials conducted with 9 human volunteers as participants for a study on cannabis treatment efficacy at reducing aggressive cancer cell growth.
The the outcomes of the various treatments trialed showed some very positive results, which is why its quite surprising why many deny these trials took place despite the British Medical journal having Published the results in 2001.
I am supplying a link to the sync online data storage where a folder containing 9 studies which you may find of interest in regards to cancer treatment, try googling the pharmacy guide for the 1920-40s and see how many treatments contained Cannabis., https://ln.sync.com/dl/6d704c830 -s94ry8na-7bmigstw-fxtk4wur
