September 21-October 1 the VIS Para Sport Unit is kicking off its spring Talent Search Program with a chance to try Para sports from table tennis to track cycling, archery to athletics, in welcoming, supported environments.

Whether you're new to Para sport, curious about a Para pathway, or just looking for an exciting new challenge, there's a session for you.

Welcome to the team, Steph!

Steph is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with her limb-different clients and supporting them to achieve their goals.

After graduating from La Trobe University in 2022, Steph began her career in Sydney, specialising in paediatric prosthetics. She later returned to her home state of Tasmania, where she continues to provide personalised prosthetic care to a diverse range of clients.

Steph is passionate about all areas of prosthetic care, with experience volunteering in Cambodia and supporting clients at the 2024 Paris Paralympic Games.

Steph is currently on maternity leave, but is looking forward to getting back to treating clients in Tasmania very soon.

Steph is a registered member of the Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA)

Welcome to the team, Rob!

Rob is a passionate and experienced Orthotist, having previously worked in both Public and Private settings since graduating from La Trobe University in 2011.

A Hobart local, Rob is dedicated to supporting his community with specialised Orthotic Care, and committed to advancing this field within the broader Tasmanian community, and will be our go to Orthotist at the Omni Hobart clinic.

Rob’s experience covers a full range of Inpatient and Outpatient Orthotic services, including spinal, orthopaedics, vascular, paediatric and Neuromuscular pathologies.

Rob is a registered member of the Australian Orthotic & Prosthetic Association (AOPA).
