The seasonal flu vaccine is the most effective way to reduce the risk of infection and complications. As the influenza virus changes each year, annual vaccination is important for ongoing protection.

Free flu vaccines are available for eligible patients, including:
• children aged 6 months to under 5 years
• Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people aged 6 months and over
• pregnant women
• adults aged 65 and over
• people with certain medical conditions

Stepping out of the clinic and into something a little different.

The Melbourne Teams Corporate Triathlon gave our team the chance to swap consult rooms for a team challenge, with 4 teams and 12 participants taking on a 300m ocean swim, 10km cycle and 4km run.

It was a great reminder that health isn’t just something we talk about with patients, it’s something we actively prioritise as a team.

Building strong habits, supporting each other and staying active all play a role in long-term wellbeing, both inside and outside the workplace.
