🧠 NEURODEVELOPMENTAL & BEHAVIOURAL ASSESSMENT SUPPORT

ADHD or Autism concerns? Not sure where to start?

PBS with Portia is now offering Neurodevelopmental & Behavioural Assessment Support to families and individuals within the wider community — you do not need to be an NDIS participant to access this service.

This service is designed for individuals and families wanting to better understand concerns relating to:

• Attention and concentration
• Impulsivity and executive functioning
• Emotional regulation
• Behavioural concerns
• Sensory needs
• Communication and social development
• Routines and transitions
• Functional difficulties at home, school or in the community
• Characteristics commonly associated with ADHD and/or Autism

Depending on the package selected, assessment support may include developmental and behavioural history, screening measures where appropriate, behavioural and functional assessment, questionnaires, review of existing reports, collateral information from schools/support people, structured observations, functional behaviour analysis and a written report with recommendations and appropriate referral pathways.

🌸 INITIAL SCREENING — $250
Approximately 1.5 hours

🌸 COMPREHENSIVE ASSESSMENT SUPPORT — $750
Approximately 4–5 hours of practitioner time

🌸 COMPREHENSIVE PLUS — $1,250
Approximately 7–8 hours of practitioner time

No referral is required for private community clients.

⚠️ PLEASE NOTE

I am an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP) working within Specialist Behaviour Support. I am not a psychologist, paediatrician or psychiatrist.

This service does not provide a diagnosis of ADHD, Autism or any other medical, developmental or mental-health condition, nor does it replace a formal diagnostic assessment.

The purpose of this service is to help identify behavioural and functional concerns, strengths and support needs and, where appropriate, provide recommendations regarding further assessment or referral to suitably qualified health professionals.

💳 PRIVATE COMMUNITY CLIENTS

For individuals who are not accessing this service through appropriate NDIS funding, this is a private, out-of-pocket service.

These fees are not claimable through Medicare and no Medicare rebate is available for appointments with me.

NDIS participants are welcome to enquire; whether the service can be funded through an NDIS plan will depend on the participant’s individual circumstances, goals, funded supports and whether the work falls within the scope of their Specialist Behaviour Support.

🌴 Out of Office 🩷

It's time for a little rest and recharge! ✈️

From 29 July to 8 August, Goose and I will be taking a short break to come back refreshed and ready to continue supporting our incredible participants and families.

During this time:
✨ Face-to-face appointments will continue with one of our wonderful Allied Health Assistants.

Alongside me is Goose, my registered therapy dog and favourite co-therapist! 🐶 Goose helps participants feel calm, supported, and comfortable during sessions.
