Winter Solstice ☀️ Southern Hemisphere 🌏
The longest night holds the deepest roots. 🌌
I took this photo today in a moment of perfect stillness reminding me of the still point of the Sun - a sacred pause. In the Southern Hemisphere it's the Winter Solstice - the shortest day and the longest night of the year. A time when growth happens underground, out of sight.
Often when we sit with a heavy, dark, or tangled place inside, our first instinct might be to look away.
But our awakening relies on our willingness to welcome and embrace our own depths.
When we learn to give gentle, friendly company to the quiet, dark, or wintery spaces inside us, our nervous system finds its ground and from that very darkness, the next organic, life-forward step begins to emerge.
On this still point of the Sun whether you are in the Southern Hemisphere (Winter Solstice ☀️) or the Northern Hemisphere (Summer Solstice ☀️)
What part of your inner landscape is asking for a sacred pause today?
Drop a 🌲 for rest, or a 🌌 for deep reflection.
