Have you heard? Iām rich.
Not financially. Yet. š
Starting Babe has actually been one of the most terrifying things Iāve ever done.
There have been late nights. A lot of second-guessing. Moments where Iāve wondered whether I was doing the right thing. And the uncomfortable reality of risking comfort to build something I genuinely believe in.
But somewhere along the way, I realised I am rich.
Iām rich in experience.
A decade of nursing. Trauma wards. Real pressure. Real stakes. Years spent learning how to care for people when theyāre vulnerable and how to stay calm when it matters.
Aesthetics didnāt make me skilled. Healthcare did.
Iām rich in intention.
I will never rush your face. I will never overfill you. And I will never treat you like a number on an appointment list.
Natural over frozen.
Balance over trend.
Iām rich in empathy.
I know what it feels like to look in the mirror and be harder on yourself than anyone else could ever be.
Sometimes it isnāt really the wrinkle that bothers us. Itās what we feel it represents. Getting older. Looking tired. Not quite recognising the person looking back at us.
Thatās why I believe listening is just as important as treating.
And Iām rich in courage.
The courage to start.
The courage to back myself.
The courage to build something honest in an industry that can sometimes feel dominated by filters, trends and fast money.
I didnāt start Babe because I wanted to change faces.
I started Babe because I wanted to create the kind of aesthetics clinic I would feel comfortable walking into myself ā private, considered, nurse-led and built around genuine care.
So maybe Iām not financially rich.
But Babe is rich in care.
Rich in skill.
Rich in intention.
Rich in heart.
And thatās the kind of rich Iām proud of. š
