Activated nuts are raw nuts that have been soaked in salted water (sometimes with kombucha) to mimic nature's germination process, then dehydrated at low temperatures. This process breaks down enzyme inhibitors and phytic acid, resulting in enhanced crunch, better flavor, and improved digestion. We have a range of organic activated nuts and seeds in store, which are packaged in jars so no plastic waste 😇

Grains are defined as the caryopsis or dried fruit (also called corn) of a cereal plant. These include wheat, oats, rye, barley and maize.
Grains contain high amounts of phytic acid, enzyme inhibitors, disaccharides, and complex proteins which all contribute to making grains hard to digest.
Grain free breads are available, we have a number of varieties to choose from in store, including Deeks Health Foods, Purefoodie Venerdi Paleo Breads and No Grainer. All of these breads are grain free, easy to digest, gentle on the gut and full of nutritious ingredients. We also have grain free crackers, biscuits and pizza bases, so you dont have to miss out due to grain intolerance 😀

We have lots of lovely treats in store, including delicious goodies from the Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory. On our counter you will find Junee Licorice & Chocolate Factory organic licorice straps, we also have packets of their Spelt Licorice and several different chocolate coated goodies. They use dairy free Belgian dark chocolate, totally lush!
