Turns out the spiritual awakening was mostly boundaries and disappointing people. 😂

Not everyone is going to love the growing version of you.

Especially if the version of you they knew was easier to access, easier to guilt, easier to convince, easier to overextend and really bloody good at saying “it’s fine” when it absolutely was not fine.

Sometimes healing looks less like floating around in white linen, completely unbothered…

and more like:

“No.”
“That doesn’t work for me.”
“I’m not available for that.”
“I actually don’t want to.”
And the occasional, “You’re allowed to be disappointed.” 😌

Because boundaries aren’t about controlling how other people respond to you.

They’re about learning that their response doesn’t have to determine your decision.

And apparently that’s enlightenment. 😂✨

With love,
The Hummingbird Healing Collective 🐦🤍

Healing isn’t a race, and your body isn’t keeping score.

Trust isn’t built in one big breakthrough. It’s built in the small moments when you listen instead of push, when you rest instead of prove, when you meet yourself with compassion instead of criticism.

Your nervous system isn’t asking you to hurry.

It’s asking you to stay.

Because healing was never meant to happen at the speed of pressure.

It happens at the speed of trust. 🤍

Growth is often sold to us as reinvention.

A new beginning.
A fresh identity.
A dramatic leap into someone we’ve never been before.

But in my experience, some of the deepest healing happens when we stop trying to become someone else and learn how to remain present with who we already are.

To stay with the discomfort.
To stay with the uncertainty.
To stay long enough for trust to grow.

The nervous system doesn’t heal through constant starting over. It heals through safe repetition, gentle presence, and the experience of discovering that we can stay with ourselves through change.

Maybe growth isn’t always asking you to let go of who you are.

Maybe it’s asking you to stop running from yourself long enough to remember. 🤍

The wounds we carry from female relationships are often some of the hardest to speak about.

Because we expect women to feel safe.

And when they don’t, something deep inside us learns to protect.

This isn’t about blame.

It’s about understanding.

Understanding why your nervous system responds the way it does.
Why trust feels hard.
Why belonging can feel complicated.
Why being fully seen can feel vulnerable.

The beautiful thing is that the nervous system can learn something new.

It can experience safe connection.

It can discover that not every relationship will repeat the past.

And through that experience, healing becomes possible.

For a long time, I thought community was about finding the right people.

Now I think it’s about creating the right conditions.

The conditions where people don’t have to perform.
Where they don’t have to have it all figured out.
Where they’re allowed to be messy, uncertain, growing, grieving, healing, celebrating, and becoming.

Because genuine connection isn’t built through perfection.

It’s built through safety.

The kind of safety that allows someone to say,
“This is who I am.”

And trust they’ll still belong.

I believe so much of our healing happens in those spaces.

Not because someone fixes us.

But because we’re finally met with the acceptance, witnessing, and connection our nervous systems have been longing for all along.

This Full Moon invited me to reflect on the idea of revelation.

So often we’re told to ask:

“What do I need to release?”

And sometimes that’s exactly the question.

But this time I found myself asking something different.

“What has changed within me that I haven’t fully acknowledged?”

Healing isn’t only found in what we’re letting go of.

Sometimes it’s found in recognising how differently we now meet life.

The moments we pause instead of react.

The moments we choose ourselves.

The moments we hold space for our feelings without becoming consumed by them.

Those moments deserve to be witnessed too.

Perhaps this Full Moon isn’t only revealing what still needs healing.

Perhaps it’s also revealing how much healing has already taken place.

For so long, I believed healing was something we did alone.

That if I could just learn enough, process enough, heal enough, eventually I would arrive somewhere.

But over the years, I’ve discovered something else.

Some wounds are created in relationship.

And because of that, some healing happens in relationship too.

Not through advice.

Not through fixing.

Not through someone telling us what to do.

But through safe connection.

Through being witnessed.

Through discovering that belonging doesn’t have to come at the cost of ourselves.

This understanding has quietly shaped the vision I’ve carried for years.

The Hummingbird Healing Collective isn’t fully here yet, but it’s coming.

Not as another place to learn more.

Not as another space asking women to become someone else.

But as a space where women can gather, connect, be seen, and remember they were never meant to carry everything alone.

This is the kind of healing I’m interested in.

The kind that happens when masks come off.

When stories are shared.

When nervous systems soften.

When women remember who they are in the presence of other women doing the same.

I’d love to know:

Healing doesn’t have to be a journey you walk alone.

So many of us have learned to survive in isolation, believing we have to carry our pain quietly or “figure it out” before we’re worthy of connection.

But what if healing was never meant to happen that way?

The Hummingbird Healing Collective is being created as a space where women can gather, be witnessed, and remember who they are beneath the stories they’ve carried.

A place where your nervous system can soften.
Where your intuition is welcomed.
Where healing happens not through perfection, but through safe connection.

Because when one woman remembers herself, she quietly gives others permission to do the same.

If you’ve been longing for a community that feels like coming home, I’d love to know…

For so long, many of us believed healing was something we had to do alone.

We learnt to keep it together.
To stay strong.
To carry our pain quietly.
To convince ourselves that if we just tried harder, we’d eventually become “healed.”

But I’ve come to believe that healing isn’t found in perfection.

It’s found in safe connection.

It’s found in the moments where someone sits beside you and says,

“Me too.”

It’s found in the friendships where you don’t have to explain why you’re tired.

In the circles where your tears don’t need to be fixed.

In the spaces where your nervous system finally realises it no longer has to protect itself.

I believe we are wired for connection.

Not the kind that asks us to perform, prove or pretend.

The kind that gently reminds us that we were never meant to carry life alone.

That is the heart behind the Hummingbird Healing Collective.

Not a place where anyone has all the answers.

A place where women can come exactly as they are, be deeply witnessed, and remember what it feels like to belong.

If you’ve been longing for a community that feels like exhaling…

Welcome home. 🤍

There was never just one version of you

There was the one who curled inward, who learned to make herself small, who held the pain, the silence, the survival

And there was the one who kept reaching, who stayed open to beauty, who believed in something more

Not separate, just experienced differently

We often speak about healing like we have to choose

The light or the shadow
The healed or the wounded
The woman we are becoming or the one we were

But this is where the split begins

Because both have always existed within you

The part of you that withdrew was protecting something sacred

The part of you that stayed open was remembering something true

Healing isn’t choosing one over the other

It’s allowing them to meet

To realise they were never enemies, just two expressions of the same self trying to find safety in different ways

And when they come together something softens

You’re no longer fragmented between who you were and who you’re becoming

You become whole because you can hold both

There is no old you to leave behind

Only parts of you waiting to be welcomed home
