Country Hearing Care have been providing hearing services to rural Australian communities since 2003 and over the years both our team and our clinic have grown. In 2018 we opened our purpose-built hearing clinic at 203 Ontario Avenue where we have a dedicated team of clinicians and administrators to help you with all of your hearing health needs. We cover children’s hearing tests, ear wax management, balance assessments, hearing device fitting, and much more. How can we help you today?

🌞 A beautiful day for the 2026 Wentworth Show! 🌞

Fiona, Gavin and Neharika had a wonderful weekend at the Wentworth Show, enjoying the sunshine and catching up with the local community.

They spent the day checking hearing, answering questions and having plenty of chats about hearing and ear health. It’s always lovely to get out into the community, connect with locals and be part of these great events.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by for a chat!

Speech Pathology Week 2026: Communication creates possibility

This Speech Pathology Week, we’re celebrating the incredible speech pathologists who help children find their voice, build confidence and connect with the world around them. 💙

This year’s theme, “Communication creates possibility,” highlights just how important communication is for children- and aligns closely with Country Hearing Care’s values.

At Country Hearing Care, we love working alongside speech pathologists because hearing and communication go hand in hand. 👂🗣️

If there are concerns about a child’s speech or language, a hearing check is an important first step. Children need to hear speech clearly to learn the sounds, words and language around them — and knowing how well a child hears helps speech pathologists tailor their support.

We’re proud to work collaboratively with speech pathologists and other health professionals to give children the best possible start. 💙

Here’s to helping more little ears hear, communicate, connect and discover what’s possible! 🥰

A great day at the Harvesting Health Event in Gunbower! 🌾👂

Nadia and Gavin were out in the Country Hearing Care van, talking all things hearing and sharing information specific to the needs of farmers, agricultural workers and the wider regional community.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the local community, provide hearing screenings and educate on the importance of looking after your hearing.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hello — we had a great day! 💙

We’re incredibly proud to see our Ballarat Clinical Team Lead, Kurt Ashworth, representing Country Hearing Care at Audiology Australia’s Connect & Learn session in Melbourne last week. 👏

Kurt presented alongside leading clinicians in the field on “Beyond the Audiogram”, sharing valuable insights into the real-world challenges faced by people with hearing loss. He also joined the expert panel discussing implantable hearing care and practical approaches for clinicians.

It’s a fantastic example of the expertise, knowledge and commitment our team brings to hearing care every day. We’re proud to have clinicians like Kurt contributing to the wider audiology profession and helping to shape best practice in our field. 👂

Well done Kurt!
