Recently, our Engagement Manager Lauren had the opportunity to volunteer with Beyond Blindness alongside Julie, enjoying a walk, grabbing a coffee, sharing laughs, and connecting over the little moments that matter.

Lauren learnt so much from the experience, including the trust and communication involved in guiding someone who is blind through the community. From describing surroundings and sharing what’s happening in the environment, to offering reassurance and building confidence along the way.

Spending the morning together was a beautiful reminder of Julie’s confidence, intelligence, resilience, and the way she navigates the world with such strength and independence.

Accessibility is about more than spaces. It’s about people, connection, trust, and creating communities where everyone feels included.

Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea ☕💛

We were proud to host this year’s morning tea at Elevate Health, alongside and BC Effective Therapies.

We had a lovely morning sipping coffee, sharing food, and coming together for a cause that holds a special place in all our hearts.

We’ve gone well past our fundraising goal, an incredible effort thanks to the generosity of everyone who contributed and supported our great cause.

Every dollar raised helps Cancer Council continue vital work in research, prevention, effective therapies, and care for people and families affected by cancer.

Big thanks to everyone who baked, donated, and helped us smash our goal. We raised $635. We’re genuinely so appreciative of all the support.

✨ What we do at EHA ✨

At EHA, our focus is simple — providing support that feels steady, thoughtful, and genuinely aligned to each person 🩵

We support everyday life through Core Disability Supports, whether that’s help at home, getting out into the community, or building confidence in the moments that matter.

Alongside this, we offer Mentoring, Support Coordination, Occupational Therapy, and an Emergency On Call service, working together so support feels connected, responsive, and reliable when it’s needed most.

We also have a dedicated Care Coordinators who regularly checks in on compliance, client wellbeing, and overall service quality, making sure clients are happy, feedback is heard and valued, and staff wellbeing is supported too.

On top of this, we have a registered nurse on board overseeing medical and clinical support, helping ensure care is safe, appropriate, and delivered to a consistently high standard.

We’re not here to simply fill shifts, we’re here to build real relationships, create consistency, and provide support that people can genuinely rely on.

At EHA, we’re a long-standing, connected team. We focus on real relationships, clear communication, and keeping clients, families, service providers, and support workers aligned and supported.

Our core focus remains Core Disability Supports, practical, everyday support that elevates independence and confidence.

We’ve strengthened our focus and training for Mentors and Support Workers, and also offer Support Coordination, Occupational Therapy, and an Emergency On Call service.

We support clients across Adelaide metro and surrounding regional areas, including the Adelaide Hills, Fleurieu Peninsula, and Barossa region.
