Regional Development Australia Yorke and Mid North (RDAYMN) is currently planning the delivery of our FREE Career in Care and Pathways to Childcare training programs for 2027 — and we want locals to help us decide where these programs are needed most.

We are inviting potential students across the Yorke and Mid North region to complete a short Expression of Interest survey:

Both programs include national accredited training plus additional support such as friendly trainers, mentoring and tutoring, employability skills, budgeting, mental health and resume workshops, with a strong focus on building confidence and preparing students for employment or further training.

Art Exhibition coming to Wallaroo, August 21st Opening, and open across Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August.

SOS Yorkes do an amazing job of supporting people and raising awareness about Su***de.

Jessi's Wish is a deeply personal tribute by Teresa Willmott to exhibit her daughter Jessi's artwork, who tragically took her own life.

The official opening is being held at the Wallaroo Sailing Club on Friday, 21st August at 630pm and will run through Saturday and Sunday, 22nd and 23rd August.

All door takings will be kindly donated to Stamp Out Su***de Yorke Peninsula, to further help su***de prevention, mental health support, and emotional well-being for individuals across the Yorke Peninsula.

The ‘Jessi’s Wish’ exhibition is an opportunity for our community to come together, honour Jessi’s memory, support Teresa and her husband Ian, whilst strengthening awareness around mental health and su***de prevention.

The Hub will be closed tomorrow (Wednesday) as we take some time to celebrate the life of our dear friend, Dr Stephen Helps.

For anyone unable to attend the funeral in person, there will be a livestream of the service you can watch from your home or at The Hub as we remember Stephen together.

We sincerely thank everyone for your understanding, kindness and support during this difficult time.

The family and friends of the late Dr Stephen Clayton Helps are advised that his Funeral Service will be conducted in its entirety in our Funeral Home, 105 Prospect Road, Prospect on Wednesday, July 22, at 10:30 am.

In lieu of floral tributes, a donation to Hospital Research Foundation Group - Parkinsons would be appreciated. Envelopes will be available at the Chapel.

Today, on International Pride Day, we chose to hold our Board Games Group because we believe everyone deserves to feel accepted, valued and connected within their community.

Sometimes belonging begins with something very simple — sitting around a table, sharing a game, meeting someone new, and realising there is a place for you.

Our Board Games Group is about much more than games. It is about creating a welcoming space where people can come exactly as they are, make connections, build friendships, and be part of something bigger.

As we move into Disability Pride Month in July, it feels especially important to celebrate identity, diversity, and the many ways people contribute to our communities.
Disability Pride reminds us that disability is a natural part of human diversity and that everyone deserves to be seen, heard, respected, and included.

Today we celebrate Pride. In July we celebrate Disability Pride. Every day, we celebrate belonging.
