We have 4 centres located in Essendon, Burwood, Moonee Ponds and Footscray. Our centres are open 7 days a week for your convenience and can accommodate patients requiring urgent, same day consultations. We also welcome any new patients. SIA Medical Centre offers both experienced General Practitioners (both male and female) and friendly nurses. Our GPs also have a special interest in Diabetes Management, Chronic Disease Management, Acupuncture, Natural Therapies, Pregnancy and Women’s Health, Men’s Health and Travel Medicine. A Heart Health Check with your GP and nurse can help assess your risk and identify ways to reduce it before problems develop.

You may be eligible if you:
✔ Are 45 years or older
✔ Are 35 years or older and living with diabetes
✔ Are 30 years or older and an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander person

During your Heart Health Check, your GP and nurse may:
✔ Review your medical and family history
✔ Check your blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar levels
✔ Assess your risk of a heart attack or stroke over the next 5 years
✔ Work with you on a plan to help lower your risk
