WINTER SOLSTICE GATHERING - FULLY BOOKED. 🙌

A REFLECTION ON WINTER SOLSTICE, HEALING &
THE PRINCIPLE OF REGENERATION

As we move towards the longest night of the year this weekend - The Winter Solstice offers more than a seasonal turning point—it provides a powerful reminder of how healing naturally occurs.

Nature does not rush through winter.

Trees do not force their leaves to return.

Seeds do not push themselves to bloom before their time.

Instead, there is a sacred period of rest, conservation, and regeneration.

Our nervous systems are designed in much the same way.

Yet many of us have learned to override our body's signals, pushing through exhaustion, stress, and emotional overwhelm in an attempt to keep up with life's demands.

The Universal Principle of Regeneration teaches that life continually renews itself. Nothing in nature remains in a permanent state of depletion. After every period of expenditure comes restoration. After every ending comes a new beginning.

Regeneration is the intelligence of life seeking balance, renewal, and wholeness.

Winter embodies this principle perfectly.

While the earth appears quiet on the surface, profound activity is taking place beneath. Energy is being restored. Roots are deepening. Life is gathering strength for the season ahead.

Healing often unfolds in the same way.

What appears to be stillness may actually be integration.

What feels like slowing down may be preparation.

What seems like an ending may be the beginning of a new cycle.

The Winter Solstice invites us to ask:

Where am I being called to slow down?

What is my body asking for?

What am I ready to release?

What within me is quietly regenerating?

I know I have been called into stillness and contemplation these past few weeks. This time around I decided to honour my own process and just be...to rest more. I even took myself away for a mini retreat out in nature, the cold so refreshing and restorative.

The longest night teaches us that darkness is not always a problem to be solved. Sometimes it is a sacred space where restoration occurs.

Healing happens in the pause.

Wisdom emerges in the stillness.

Regeneration begins when we create the conditions for safety, rest, and renewal.

As the light slowly returns, may you offer yourself the same patience that nature offers the earth.

For just as the sun returns after the longest night, the Principle of Regeneration reminds us that renewal is not something we must force—it is a natural expression of life itself.

If this season is calling you inward, trust that call. Within the stillness may lie the very wisdom, healing, and renewal you have been seeking.

If you find yourself at a threshold of change, healing, or renewal and would value support along the way, I warmly invite you to reach out for a conversation.

Wishing you a blessed Winter Solstice.

Winter Solstice
A time for going within
And I did.
This weekend I so enjoyed a little offline retreat at Still Earth - near Port Pirie. A beautiful spot with cabins set on the edge of a dam with a backdrop of the Flinders Ranges.
We all need time to reconnect with nature, especially in the Winter months were there is a deeper calling for stillness, inner reflection & connection.
With the Winter Solstice coming up this weekend, this little time away gave me a window to reflect and soak up the energies of nature.
I was especially called to connect with two beautiful old gums. These two felt like a wise old couple, a grandfather & grandmother tree, standing steadfast through time together. The energy was palpable and so nurturing.
I am so grateful for this time....small gifts of a life lived. A time to breathe, reset and remember......

Many blessings
Grace.

The Winter Solstice marks the longest night of the year—a sacred turning point where darkness gives way to light, and the seeds of new beginnings quietly awaken beneath the surface.

Join us for an evening of stillness, healing, and sacred connection as we honor this ancient seasonal gateway.
Together we will release what no longer serves, embrace the wisdom of the season, and kindle the first light of a new cycle within.
This will be a small group gathering and there are only a few spots left. If you are feeling called to be part of this ceremony, please contact me via message or email to book your spot.
It is always such a joy to provide a space at my little Studio for these gathering. I look forward to sharing the evening with beautiful soul led women.
See you there.

A Flower for the Carers – A Big Sunflower 🌻

I recently had the pleasure of providing a couple of workshops for carers in our area.
The aim was to offer an opportunity for rest and recharge, valuable self-care time with a focus on wellness, and, of course, a chance to connect with others. Each group was quite different and unfolded organically.
What struck me most was the diverse array of situations these amazing women are navigating. The depth of the emotional, physical, and spiritual toll that full-time caring requires is, in itself, an act of dedication, commitment, and giving deeply of oneself.
Much of what carers do happens behind closed doors and often goes unseen by the wider world. Yet it is in these quiet acts of love, patience, advocacy, and perseverance that lives are changed every day. Caring is one of the greatest expressions of the human heart."
Many carers are in it for the long haul, some caring for more than one person with complex needs. Some were coping well, others at the end of their tether.
What emerged was the deep need for self-care—for putting our own needs first and foremost. The old saying, "Put on your own oxygen mask first," comes to mind. Otherwise, we risk burning out, becoming resentful, and eventually falling in a heap. Many have experienced this.
It is often difficult to reach out, to ask for help, or even to know what to do when it all becomes too much. Perhaps one of the greatest acts of courage is allowing ourselves to receive. To say, 'I need help,' is not a sign of failure. It is an acknowledgement of our humanity and a recognition that we were never meant to carry life's burdens alone.

So, dear carers, this is a shout-out to you.
Thank you for all that you do.

Please remember that giving to yourself isn't selfish—it is essential. Taking time to fill your own cup is not only okay, it is necessary. And not knowing what to do under prolonged stress is a normal response to challenging and demanding circumstances.

The spirit is always calling us back to balance, back to ourselves. Sometimes it speaks in a whisper—a longing for rest, a desire for connection, or a quiet (or not so quiet) knowing that something needs to change. When we listen and respond, even in the smallest ways, healing begins.

What you choose to do is always up to you. Whether it is a walk in nature, a conversation with a trusted friend, a healing session, a trip to the market, or simply taking a moment to breathe, the call of the spirit towards renewal is one worth listening to.
Once we decide, doors begin to open. Change, however small, can happen.

Spiritual Psychology teaches that we are the creators of our lives. Therefore, we also have the power to speak our needs, honour our boundaries, and choose what nourishes us.

So, my offering this week is to those carers in need of some tlc.
Please contact me to book either a counselling session or a Reiki Healing sessions at a 20% discount. I have 5 spots available.
The appointment doesn't need to be this week if that doesn't suit. Booking before Friday will ensure your discount at the time of your appointment.
If you are unsure what Reiki is or never had a session before I can say wholeheartedly you will experience deep relaxation. Reiki offers many benefits including the space to recharge, realign and release emotional load as well as calming the nervous system.

Blessings to all carers.

"May this sunflower be a reminder to turn towards the light, even on the difficult days, and to remember that your wellbeing matters too."

The Child Within........ 🪽
So much of who we become is shaped in moments we barely remember.

As children, we quietly form beliefs about ourselves, and the world based on our experiences:
“I am not enough.”
“I have to earn love.”
“It’s not safe to be seen.”
“My needs don’t matter.”

These beliefs often live beneath the surface of our adult lives, influencing our relationships, our self-worth, our nervous system, our ability to receive, trust and truly thrive.
The journey of healing is not about fixing ourselves.
It is about gently meeting the parts within us that learned to survive through fear, protection and disconnection… and bringing them back into safety, compassion and truth.

Through inner work, spiritual psychology, nervous system healing and conscious awareness, we begin to unravel the stories we inherited or created in moments of pain.

And as we do… new possibilities are born.
We begin to create from wholeness instead of wounds.
From truth instead of fear.
From love instead of survival.

Healing the child within may be one of the most sacred journeys we ever take.
Because when we heal ourselves, we also begin to heal generations.
At this time of a rising new awareness, many are feeling this call to unravel these scars, this old 'stuff' that is so wanting to let go.

If this speaks to your heart, perhaps your soul is calling you inward.

I hold space for this work through transformational sessions designed to support deeper remembrance, healing and awakening.

If this resonates, you are very welcome to reach out when you feel called. You may know someone who is really ready to release and shift into new possibilities so please feel free to share with them also. 🤍
I am available at my home-based studio in Moonta and also online – anywhere.

A Reflection on Grief

Recently, I sat with a client exploring the deep emotional landscape that can emerge after the passing of a parent.
What unfolded was not only sadness, but the many layered experiences grief can carry: regret, unfinished conversations, unmet expectations, longing, guilt, love, anger, tenderness, and the quiet questioning that loss can awaken within us.
What struck me most was how grief is rarely just about the loss itself.
Often, grief becomes a mirror.
It reveals the places where we wished we had spoken more honestly. Loved more openly. Shown up differently. Or allowed ourselves to truly feel what was there.
It can expose our expectations of ourselves: “I should be coping better.” “I should be stronger.” “I should be able to move on by now.”
But we know grief doesn't follow timelines -and healing isn't linear.
Grief is deeply spiritual really - it strips away illusion & asks us to confront impermanence. To recognize the preciousness of time. To soften our resistance to life & to ourselves - to the layers of emotional protection we may have carried for years.

As we walked through this session, something powerful emerged: the understanding that grief can become a doorway.
A doorway into greater truth, greater authenticity & presence.
Ultimately, a deeper commitment to life itself.

New declarations began to emerge -
To stop hiding who I am. to stand in my power.
Honour my pain without becoming it.
I claim the life I truly want to live.
to say yes to life.
To recognise the depth of my Love.

There is something profoundly moving about witnessing the shift from sorrow into self-awareness and possibility.
Not because the grief disappeared, but because meaning began to emerge alongside it. The recognition that Love never dies - it too transitions into another space, a bridge between worlds of the heart.

This can be one of the sacred invitations grief offers us: not to bypass pain, but to allow it to awaken us.

To live more honestly. To love more openly. To stop postponing the life we know we are here to live.
To say YES to Life.......in all of it's many Human facets.....

Wishing you a wonderfully blessed Life....
