Be Physiology • Exercise Physiology At Be Physiology, we’re here to help you move better and live well. What is an exercise physiologist? In short, we're more hands-off, and they're hands-on.

We create supportive environments where individuals can feel confident and empowered to improve their health through movement. An exercise physiologist is an allied health professional, who uses exercise as medicine to treat chronic health conditions, such as stroke or spinal cord injuries. We're similar to a physio in that we have a 4-year degree, but we assess and manage conditions by prescribin

g exercise and movement, whereas a physiotherapist will assess, diagnose and treat your condition through a variety of hands-on skills (such as massage and dry needling). Movement is our medicine.
