This role is about connection first, building trust, engaging at his level and working alongside his family. Supports include personal care, domestic assistance, walking and outdoor activities.

• Monday–Friday, with 6:30am starts essential

🕒 Current Hours Available:
• Various weekday shifts 3:00pm–6:00pm
• Tuesday 10:00am–2:00pm
• Additional hours available covering leave and sick shifts

Approximately 10 hours per week currently available, with opportunities for future growth as our organisation expands.

At Wattle Cares4U, we believe that the right support worker can become a steady and encouraging presence in a young person’s life. We are currently seeking a male support worker who can provide a positive mentoring role for a 13-year-old young person living in Regency Downs. He enjoys gaming on PC and PlayStation but also loves spending time outdoors riding bikes, fishing and swimming. The role focuses on support with morning and afternoon school routines, helping create calm structure and consistency during a time of family change.

We are looking for someone who leads with kindness, patience and genuine care, while also being able to provide clear boundaries and guidance. Experience supporting young people with ADHD and Autism Level 2 with a PDA profile would be highly valued. If you feel called to be a steady, positive influence in a young person’s world, we would love to hear from you.

We’re currently looking for a female support worker in Beachmere to assist a participant primarily with in-home support and household management. This role focuses mostly on cleaning, organising the home environment, and occasional light meal preparation, with very limited community access. If you enjoy creating calm, tidy spaces and having a good chat while supporting someone in their own home, this could be a great fit.

Wattle Cares4U is looking for a male Support Worker to work alongside an existing male support worker, supporting a young male participant in both home and community settings.

This role is ideal for someone who is calm, active, patient, and values purpose in their work. You’ll be part of a small, consistent team focused on building trust, routine, and meaningful daily experiences.

About the Role

- Support daily routines, personal care, and community access.
- Engage in physical activities such as walking, water play, and movement-based regulation.
- Follow structured plans guided by Behaviour Support, OT, and Speech Therapy.
- Build genuine connection through consistency and respect.
- Not full-time hours but can lead to, hours are throughout the week Mornings and Afternoons (school holidays are different so availability through the day in holidays is highly desirable).
- Casual or Subcontractor Role.
- Hourly rate assessed in line with the schads award; is offered only once a successful candidate is chosen.
- Location: North Brisbane / Moreton Bay region

We’re Looking For Someone Who:

- Is reliable, patient, and emotionally grounded
- Is comfortable with personal care
- Enjoys being active and outdoors
- Communicates clearly and follows structured plans
- Values dignity, respect, and purpose in care
- Can work collaboratively within a support team
