The power of great Independent Living Assistants (ILAs)

Being an ILA is about so much more than assisting people with daily tasks.
It’s about creating daily opportunities for learning, growth and independence.

An everyday task such as shopping can support a range of NDIS goals, including:
✔ Developing independent living skills
✔ Building confidence in the community
✔ Improving communication and social skills
✔ Learning budgeting and money management
✔ Making informed choices and decisions

Our ILAs know when to step in and when to step back, encouraging the people we support to lead their growth, make their own decisions and build independence, one small task at a time.
