Australia is on track to eradicate cervical cancer by 2035 and screening is easier than ever.
โœจ For many women and people with a cervix, screening can be done via self-collection.
โ€ข This looks for HPV (the virus that causes cervical cancer)
โ€ข Is done every 5 years (not every 2!)
๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€โš•๏ธ If youโ€™re aged 25โ€“74 and have a cervix โ€” even if youโ€™ve had the HPV vaccine โ€” screening still matters.

We are delighted to welcome Dr Liz Budd to our team.

Liz grew up in Cambridge, England and graduated with an honours degree in Medicine in 1995.
After moving to Perth she worked in public hospital in a wide variety of areas. Prior to General Practice Liz worked for several years practicing psychiatry in Australia and New Zealand.
Liz enjoys all aspects of General Practice.
Outside of work she enjoys a busy outdoor lifestyle with her family camping, swimming, and running.
