*And you don’t need to be at breaking point to come in!*

Sometimes you might just feel a little off, overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’re not quite yourself. Sometimes you might not even know exactly what you need help with; and that’s okay!

Therapy can be a space to make sense of what’s going on, talk things through and get some support along the way. 🌷

A different kind of post for this week. 💟

This one’s for the therapists: the ones quietly showing up for others every single day. I hope you know the difference you’re making.

Thinking about therapy but not sure where to start? 💭

Taking the first step can feel daunting, and it’s completely normal to have questions. 🧠

Above are some of the most common questions asked by clients to help make the process feel a little less overwhelming and a little more familiar. 🌿

Remember, you don’t need to be in crisis to seek support. Swipe through to learn more or contact us for further information. ✨

Emotional regulation isn’t about being calm all the time. It’s about staying steady enough to get through the chaos without becoming completely overwhelmed. It can look like pausing before you respond, noticing when your emotions are rising, or taking a moment instead of reacting impulsively. You might still feel anxious, frustrated, or upset and that’s ok. Regulation doesn’t mean the emotion disappears; it means you stay present while it’s happening. It’s control under the pressure.

What helps you stay regulated? 💪🏼

One year ago I took a leap of faith and started my practice. Since then, there have been so many moments that reminded me why I chose this work; conversations filled with courage, growth, vulnerability, and hope. To be trusted with people’s stories is something I will never take for granted.

Thank you to everyone who has trusted me, supported my clinic, and been part of this journey.

Today on International Women’s Day, I want to take a moment to honour the strength, resilience, and complexity of women’s lives.

As a psychologist, I have the privilege of working with many women across different stages of their lives and supporting them through experiences connected to women’s health such as pregnancy, postpartum, and menopause. These transitions can bring profound physical, emotional, and psychological changes, yet they are also periods of incredible growth and empowerment.

Time and time again, I witness the courage it takes for women to prioritise their wellbeing, speak openly about their struggles, and seek support when they need it. There is so much strength in vulnerability and in recognising that caring for your mental health is an act of empowerment.

Today is a reminder to celebrate women not only for what they do for others, but for who they are: resilient, evolving, and deserving of support at every stage of life.

Happy International Women’s Day. 🤍

So much of our distress comes from the story we tell ourselves about what might happen. The mind tries to protect us by scanning for danger, but sometimes it creates pain long before any real threat appears.

When we avoid discomfort at all costs, we often amplify it. When we allow it, make space for it, and move toward what matters anyway; it tends to lose its grip.

You don’t have to eliminate fear to live well. You just have to stop letting it run the show.

Courage isn’t the absence of fear — it’s the choice to move forward with it!
