As the end of 2018 draws near (and so quickly too!), where are you at with your dreams and goals for your health?
Have you gotten yourself to a place where you are happy with your achievements and where you’re at? Or are you still at a place that you don’t like?
How many years have you been in this undesirable place?
Have you tried all sorts of diets, gone to the gym, etc., but still stayed the same? Or maybe you lost a few kg’s, just to put them all back on again.
Is 2019 going to be another year, just like this one? Or are you going to do something different to reach your goals this time?
We all have different goals, different starting points and different obstacles to overcome. To make a positive change in your life, it takes dedication and hard work. Changing old habits that have been around for a while can be sooo challenging.
A decade of bad habits can’t be changed in a 12 week ‘challenge’. It takes time and is a staged process.
Whatever changes you make, they need to be for life. And the desire to change needs to come from within. It needs to be more than ‘ I want to look good in bathers ‘ . You’re more likely to succeed if the desire is to – have more energy, get less headaches, be a role model for my kids and family, be healthy and strong, not be a victim of type 2 diabetes like the rest of my family – you get where I’m coming from.
