π AT LIMESTONE COAST ABILITY, THE PERSON ALWAYS COMES FIRST. π
When you choose a disability support provider, you are trusting them with something incredibly important β your life, your choices, your independence and your goals.
At Limestone Coast Ability (LCA), our number one priority is the individual person we support.
We donβt believe in a βone size fits allβ approach.
We believe in working WITH people, not doing things FOR them β supporting people to build skills, make their own choices, develop independence and live a life that is meaningful to them.
πΏ WHAT MAKES LCA DIFFERENT?
Our commitment to quality starts with our people.
LCA is a Registered NDIS Provider, which means we operate within the NDIS regulatory framework and are committed to meeting the required NDIS Practice Standards, quality and safety requirements and safeguarding the rights of the people we support.
For families and participants, choosing a Registered NDIS Provider provides the reassurance that they are engaging an organisation that is accountable to the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission and is required to meet nationally recognised standards for the delivery of disability supports.
Our support workers, Team Leaders and management team are appropriately qualified, experienced and committed to ongoing professional development.
Training doesnβt stop when someone starts working with us.
Our team undertakes ongoing training and competency development, including areas such as:
βοΈ Person-centred practice
βοΈ Supported decision-making
βοΈ Human rights
βοΈ Medication administration and management
βοΈ Manual handling
βοΈ MAPA and responding safely to behaviours of concern
βοΈ Restrictive practices
βοΈ First Aid
βοΈ Infection control
βοΈ Epilepsy and seizure management
βοΈ Diabetes management
βοΈ PEG and enteral feeding
βοΈ Catheter care
βοΈ Bowel management
βοΈ Food safety
βοΈ Professional boundaries
βοΈ Risk management
βοΈ Abuse awareness and safeguarding
βοΈ NDIS practice and responsibilities
βοΈ Disability-specific skills and knowledge
We also invest in structured online and workplace learning so our staff are continually developing their knowledge and skills.
Because quality support requires more than good intentions β it requires knowledge, training, consistency, accountability and genuinely caring about the person you support.
π‘ WHAT DO WE PROVIDE?
Limestone Coast Ability is a Registered NDIS Provider, locally owned and operated, supporting people across the Limestone Coast and surrounding areas.
Our services include:
π Supported Independent Living (SIL)
Helping people live as independently as possible while developing everyday life skills.
π Home & Community Support
Individualised support in the home and assistance to access the community.
π Day Options & Learning Programs
Meaningful activities focused on skills, confidence, relationships, participation and enjoyment.
π Respite at Roseville
Our beautiful 3-acre Roseville property provides a welcoming home away from home where people can enjoy respite, try new things, spend time in a safe and supportive environment, build independence and simply have fun.
With accessible spaces, activity areas, animals, music, games, cooking, crafts and plenty of room to explore, Roseville is more than somewhere to stay β itβs a place where people can feel comfortable, included and at home.
π Group Getaways
Opportunities to travel, explore, have fun and build confidence and independence.
π Supported Employment
Supporting people to develop employment skills and work towards meaningful opportunities.
π BUT ABOVE ALL β WE SUPPORT PEOPLE, NOT JUST PLANS.
We take the time to get to know the person.
Their likes.
Their dislikes.
Their communication style.
Their goals.
Their strengths.
Their dreams.
Their challenges.
And most importantly β what a good life looks like to THEM.
We want the people we support to have choice and control, to be heard, to be respected and to have opportunities to build their own abilities.
That is why our mission is simple:
To build capacity and independence for people with disability.
π©β𦽠ARE YOU LOOKING FOR SUPPORT?
If you or someone you know is looking for a Registered NDIS Provider that genuinely puts the individual first, weβd love to have a conversation.
Whether you are looking for SIL, support at home, community participation, day options, respite or opportunities to build independence and skills β talk to LCA about what we can offer.
π©βπΌ ARE YOU A SUPPORT WORKER LOOKING FOR A GREAT TEAM?
If you are passionate about disability support, believe in person-centred practice and want to work for an organisation that invests in its people and their training, weβd love to hear from you too.
At LCA, weβre not just looking for people to fill shifts.
Weβre looking for people who want to make a difference. β€οΈ
