Reiki is a therapy that you cannot fully understand until you try it for yourself.

It allows you to switch into the parasympathetic nervous system and out of fight and flight.

This switch allows the body to aim for homeostasis which is where healing can begin.

Entering into deep relaxation, almost a cosmic consciousness, where you're aware of your surroundings and yet you feel as if your body has melted into the table and everything feels lighter in your mind, body and soul.

Reiki is used in hospitals around the world, particularly for people with cancer who are undergoing treatment. Reiki helping to ease pain and stress.

Even after all these years, I am still fascinated by what arises and the shifts that can occur.

You have probably seen from time to time posts on here that I share from my holistic temple instagram page.

I created the insta page to share all things health and fitness as that is a passion of mine. It's my mission to inspire others, especially women over 40 to move their bodies, nourish their temples and to believe in themselves.

I am so over the freaking moon!

10km done and dusted at the Sunshine Coast Marathon Festival

This is my 2nd time and I got myself a new PB.

The PB I had set out to achieve and had been working hard towards.

The stats feel so surreal to me.

But it is an indicator of the work I have been putting in.

I am excited for what's to come.

Big thank you to Sarah for being my support team this weekend and celebrating with me.

Last year I got a 10km PB of 59mins and this year 48mins race time, 47:32min Strava.

I absolutely love this event and the friendly fellow runners I get to meet.

Next goal.... 45mins! Let's gooooooo 🎉
